September is Corrie’s birth month and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate her! 🎉 If you’ve been to Wood Lake, you’ve probably crossed paths with Corrie at some point. Maybe it was during the registration process, or serving you in the camp store, through an email or when she’s out working one of the program areas at camp - she’s blessed our ministry in so many ways, and we are so thankful the Lord sent her to serve on Staff here. She carries a joy and creative energy with her, and is so intentional with our Summer staff and campers, it’s inspiring. We’re thankful for the years she’s been at Wood Lake and I’m sure will be blessed even more by the years ahead. We appreciate you, Corrie! Happy Birthday!

It’s officially September 🍂 and that means fall is just around the corner! If you or your youth group haven't signed up for FALLOUT Weekend yet we’d encourage you to get signed up soon as space is filling very fast!

We just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to our Summer Staff and volunteers! It was so amazing seeing y’all do kingdom work this summer - for some of you it was washing dishes, keeping campers safe at the waterfront, or in the kitchen cooking. Some of y’all were in the stores, or out at program areas, or serving as cabin counselors. And with that, y’all were serving the Kingdom! God used you this summer to impact lives of so many kids & families, and it was a joy to serve along side y’all. We pray that the lessons you learned this summer on staff will stick with you, and that you will continue to grow in your faith. 💚 Thank you Summer Staff 2026! We just wanted to thank everyone who gave toward our Giving Tuesday campaign last December - we have been able to see and hear how God is using your donations to impact the lives of our campers for Gods glory. We were able to get more campers out on the lake, to have fun and to build friendships with each other. 🛶 Odds are, just one person could not have been able to meet the goal we hoped for - but the Lord brought together many people/families to give what they could and together yall made a difference 💛 THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Exciting news! 7 out of our 10 cabins are already reserved for our july Family Getaway next summer! We are so thankful that families already want to come back and are bringing their friends to experience camp with them! 🔥
