Michah Agnew of Standing Stone Ministry
Who supports the minister when he needs ministering? Micah
Agnew, local Grants Pass Standing Stones missionary, answered
that question for us at last Sunday’s service. Standing Stone Ministry is devoted to supporting, encouraging, and ministering to ministers before they reach burn-out.
History of Standing Stone Ministry
“After three generations of their family experiencing the pain
and devastation of losing their pastors to burnout or infidelity,
Jim and Debbie Hogan felt God’s call to create a ministry
designed to strengthen and encourage ministry couples. As a
result, Standing Stone was founded in 2002 in Chromo,
Colorado at the Hogan’s log home on the Navajo River.
Now 20 years later, Standing Stone has a national reach with
shepherds across the United States. Shepherds provide a full
range of Biblical guidance to ministry leaders and their
spouses through ongoing trusted relationships to navigate
crises, help prevent them, and increase leaders’ health so

~Praises ~
*Micah Agnew shared the ministry of Standing Stone
ministry that helps Pastors and ministry leaders to be
healthier and better equipped for the challenges of
life in ministry.
*For Pastor Jon’s message on our memory verse for
June which will help us understand its meaning as we
continue to memorize Ephesians 4.
*John C. 2nd successful hip replacement and is
recovering well.
~Requests ~
*For Julie E. as she continues her cancer treatments, *Teresa H. migraines and adjustment to her prothesis.
*Lilly G. cancer treatment that hopefully hasn’t spread.
*Eric W. cancer.
*The Marshall/Cox clan as they prepare for a houseful of
visitors and an upcoming wedding in July.
*Joe R. back injury recovery.
*For wisdom and guidance for our Church leadership as
they pray and fast regarding the Church finances
*Prayer for our youth as they have completed another
year of school to enjoy their summer break and live for
Christ. (Riely B. and Ryah have graduated).

illnesses, finances, and other serious issues.

Joel & Leah Sanders – Serving in SE Asia – TCM
2024 Missions Conference Guests
“We just celebrated our one-year anniversary of moving to SE Asia. As we reflect back on this year, it is filled with many emotions. At the beginning we were uncertain in how we would stay, but praise God He made a way. We came with many preconceived expectations, and like many things our expectations needed to shift. Overall the feeling we have is thankfulness. We are so grateful to God for His faithfulness in the ups and downs we have faced. We are so thankful for all of you guys who pray for us.

“We are excited about a few things taking place. One thing is Joel teaching a marriage course at PBC. We are 8 weeks into a 10-week course. It has gone really well. We are so excited for those who have come to learn how to live out Biblical marriages. We pray for these saints to continue to grow in the Lord in their lives and in their marriages. Soon we would like to start a parenting class to follow up the marriage course. Please be in prayer for this as it is a hard topic to cover cross-culturally. In the midst of Chinese New Year we moved to a new location wanting to be closer to PBC. Now we often walk to church. What a blessing it was to find a place closer. Thank You, Jesus!” Please pray for our friends, the Sanders family.

*It’s a BOY! Praise the Lord that Jaymee’s baby boy, Alahkai, was delivered without complications and that Mother and baby are doing well.
*Taylor praised the Marshall clan for helping clean up their yard, especially the thorny blackberry bushes!
~Requests ~
*For Julie Epple as she continues her cancer treatments
*For the entire Marshall/Cox clan as they prepare for a houseful of visitors and an upcoming wedding.
*For the Arin and DJ as they prepare for a houseful of grandchildren. For a new, better job for Luke who just lost his job.
*Tim Hardesty’s business truck needs repairs; Theresa continues to have migraines. One of his customers (Joe) was having stroke-like symptoms, and another one was struck by a vehicle and died (prayers for the family).
*Adalis’ father for recovery from his illness and a relationship with Christ
**For wisdom and guidance for our Church leadership as they pray and fast regarding the Church finances
*Protection for the thousands of Christians and Christian Missionaries throughout the world, many of whom are in harm’s way
*Wisdom for our youth as they navigate an increasingly confusing and sinful world.
*For all who are struggling with illnesses, finances, and other serious issues in our congregation.

Team Timor – Timor-Leste - TCM
The Arsinos are pioneering TCM’s missionary work in East Timor, aka the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, in Southeast Asia, on the island of Timor. Located southeast of Indonesia, north of Australia and east of Java, 97.6% of the population is Catholic, with about 2% Protestant, and a small mix of Buddhist, Hindu, and other religions. Latest report:
“Grace Bible Church in East Timor continues to expand. In Dili, the first local worker, Pastor Natalino da Costa, is serving full-time. He has completed the Pastors and Leadership Seminar and attended a series of doctrinal Bible studies. He is committed to serving the Lord. Before, he worked as a security guard at Lighthouse International School, where the Team first met him. He was already active in community evangelism even before he knew the doctrine of grace. *For Eric Wymer’s lung cancer treatments and also strength for his wife Ruth and their family
*For Jaymee and her baby boy who is about to be delivered soon!
*Healing for Gail Laureano, who is experiencing shoulder pain associated in her shoulder that was replaced.
*For Charlyn Witcher who was taken to the ER with chest pains and for her husband Virgil.
*For our elderly dealing with the hardships of aging. For single people, couples and families dealing with financial and societal stresses, and for all caregivers.
