🚨 Texas voters: Do not wait until Election Day to check your registration.

Recent reporting shows more than 1.2 million Texas voters are on the state’s voter “suspense” list. Being on the suspense list does not automatically cancel your right to vote, but it can mean extra steps if your address needs to be confirmed.

The NAACP Arlington Branch #6298 is calling on Tarrant County and Arlington voters to take action today:

âś… Check your voter registration
âś… Confirm your address
âś… Review your voter tools
âś… Make your voting plan
âś… Share this reminder with your family, church, neighbors and group chats

Your vote is your voice. Protect it before Election Day.

Start here with Arlington NAACP voter tools:

September 10, 2010 was the Sunday that we held our first worship service as a church at the Grand Prairie Chamber Of Commerce building. Much has happened-positively and negatively-since that time and God has used it for His glory and our maturity.
On Thursday, September 10, 2026, I'm calling a 10-day, church-wide, time of fasting and praying. We will participate in a Daniel Fast where we will eat only vegetables and fruits, and drink only water, during this time. Our prayer focus is our...
1) 16th Anniversary Service (September 20th-11:30AM)
2) guest Anniversary preacher (Dr. Henry "Hank" Wilkins, IV);
3) church consultation process.

"[11] Daniel then said to the guard whom the chief official had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, [12] “Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. [13] Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see.” [14] So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days. [15] At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food." (Daniel 1:11-15)

GENERATIONS: FROM CANAAN TO JERUSALEM

"Each generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the one that went before it, and much wiser than the one that comes after it." This quote, written by the English writer George Orwell, highlights how each generation often overlooks lessons from the past and is shortsighted regarding the future. This pattern of overlooking the past and being shortsighted about the future negatively affected generations of God’s people throughout the Old Testament.

Unit 1 of this quarter tells the story of God’s people transitioning from being nomadic tribes to becoming a settled people.
