Today we’re thankful for the people who show up, put in the work, serve others, build, teach, create, care, and keep our community going.

We’re thankful for the work God gives us to do, but we’re also thankful that we get to rest. To breathe. To enjoy the people around us. And to remember that we’re loved by God simply because we’re His. ❤️

So wherever you’re at today working, resting, chasing kids, or finally getting a day off, we hope you find a little space to slow down and enjoy it.

Today we kicked off September to Remember, a series about remembering the people and communities who are often overlooked, and asking what it looks like to use our voice, our influence, and what we’ve been given to serve others.

Ever caught yourself walking past something hard because it was easier to look away?

That's where we started this morning as we kicked off September to Remember. Pastor Luke walked us through the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 in Mark 6 - how the disciples wanted to send the hungry crowd away, and Jesus told them to feed the people instead, with whatever little they had.

Right now, over 22,000 people in Mesa County are food insecure. That's not a stat on a screen. That's our neighbors down the road.

See you tomorrow!

We are kicking off September to Remember!

September is a month where we focus on turning toward the people we usually overlook. The poor. The hungry. Someone quietly struggling with their mental health. People who've never once heard the name of Jesus. Each week we're putting a face and a story to a group that's easy to miss, and asking what it looks like for us to be a voice for people who don't have one.

This isn't just a series to listen to. It's a month to actually do something. That's what biblical justice looks like: not looking away, but seeing, and then moving.

We also partner with Convoy of Hope for "One Day To Feed The World," where we encourage our regular attenders to give one day's salary toward feeding the global poor.

We're excited by what God is going to do, and we'd love for you to be part of it.

We celebrated Cory & Julia this past Sunday as they head into a well-deserved sabbatical!

Four months to slow down, rest, reconnect, and make space to simply enjoy Jesus, their family, and each other.

We’re so thankful for the way they’ve poured into this church, led with love, and walked alongside so many of us. We’re going to miss having them around, but we’re also so grateful they get this time to rest and be refreshed.

Cory & Julia, we love you, we’re thankful for you, and we’re excited for this season God has given you. Enjoy the rest, enjoy your family, and enjoy Jesus.

We’ll see you in four months! ❤️

What a great Sunday. ❤️

We got to worship together and have some fun today!

We got to celebrate Cory & Julia as they head into a well deserved four month sabbatical. We’re so grateful for the way they’ve led and loved this church, and we’re excited for this season of rest, family, and making space to simply enjoy Jesus. 😊

We also got to ask ourselves a pretty big question: “What does it mean to be human?”

What can AI do? That’s a good question. But Cory took it a step further and asked something even bigger: “Will it become a god? Will you use it to become a god? Or will you use it to honor God?” Technology is changing fast, but how we use it and what place we give it in our lives matters.Want to hear more?
