First Baptist Grain Valley Join us for worship this Sunday at 9 a.m. for Traditional/Blended Service and 10:30 a.m. for Contemporary.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you and your family to a church which takes seriously the responsibility to worship God, and share the news of salvation to a hungry world. Our worship services are evangelistic, the music is spirited and the fellowship is enjoyable. We desire to witness to our community the love and concern of a redeeming God. Come and join us as we provide the opportunity for young and old to praise God and do His work. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 22:36-40

🎃🍫WHAT A NIGHT!!🍬🚗

Trunk or Treat was a BLAST!🙌 From the creative trunks and fun activities to all the smiling faces and sweet memories, it was such a joy to see our church family come together to love on our community!❤️

A HUGE THANK YOU to all our amazing volunteers who gave their time, energy, and creativity to make this night happen! Thank you to every family who came out and joined us. We're so grateful you spent your evening with us!🧡

More than candy, costumes, and fun, we're thankful for the opportunity to help families experience God's love and share the hope of Jesus with our community. We pray the seeds planted last night will continue to grow and bear fruit!🌱✨

We are SO thankful for our church family! This is what it's all about - experiencing God, serving together, loving people, and bringing glory to Him!❤️🙌

What an amazing weekend we just enjoyed. Caz McCaslin shared 6 different messages with us and concluded his time equipping us with tools to ensure we are ‘Walking in the Light’ (Ephesians 5).

Don’t miss this coming weekend when we host Adam and Brianna Bailey. Adam will be preaching in both services. He is our candidate to join FBCGV as our Associate Pastor.

Adam is an equipper with a passion for the Gospel.

Also, donut Sunday will be happening from 10-10:30 (between 1st and 2nd services) where you can enjoy a donut and hear more from Adam.

Church members: We will have a special called business meeting at Noon (after 2nd service) to vote on this vital decision for FBCGV and the Bailey’s.

❤️WEEKEND HIGHLIGHT WITH CAZ!

What a powerful weekend of teaching, fellowship, and encouragement! From Friday night through Sunday morning, Caz shared God's Word with groups of men, women, and church leaders, challenging us to grow in our faith and live out our calling.

Here are some highlights from the weekend:

📖Friday Night - Without My Permission
A message about circumstances, obedience, and forgiveness, reminding us to trust God through life's challenges and allow Him to work in our hearts.

💪Saturday Morning - The Man God Uses
Men gathered for breakfast, discussion, and encouragement to reject passivity, lead courageously, and surrender completely to God.

🍖Saturday Lunch - Leading from the Center of the Circle
Deacons enjoyed an intimate BBQ lunch and meaningful conversations about serving, supporting, protecting, and leading with unity and obedience.

🙌Saturday Evening - These Are My People
A leadership gathering for current and prospective leaders, focused on teamwork, problem-solving, and recognizing the opportunities God places before us.

☀️Sunday Morning - From Darkness to Light
Caz shared the message from Ephesians 5: 6-14, encouraging the congregation to walk in the light of Christ. The morning service also included several baptisms, giving us another reason to celebrate God's Word and challenging us to live it out!

To God be glory for all He is doing!❤️🙏

WHAT DOES YOUR LIFE LIGHT UP?

Last Sunday, God’s Word reminded us that following Jesus means imitating Jesus.

Be a forgiver. Be a giver. Be a thanksgiver.

But here's the question: Can others see Jesus in the way we live?

Paul continues in Ephesians 5:8:

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.”

In Christ, everything changes!

We don't just walk toward the light. We walk as children of the light.

This Sunday, my friend and mentor Caz will help us unpack what that means.

Until then, here's a challenge: Let someone see Jesus in you today.
