What’s been our most popular/most attended Funsters trip?
If you said…yesterday’s Duke Lemur Center trip, you would be right on!
16 adults and 11 under 18 were on the trip!
We learned lots and saw lots of Lemurs. The Educators were awesome.
Now that everyone on the group has had a chance to add photos to our shared album… here is a bit of what we captured yesterday…more pics may be added if our album grows….

Wow! We did the Rise Against Hunger event to day in our Community Life Center.
It took our village 90 minutes to pack 10,000 meals. Yes, 10,000 meals!

Kimberly from Rise Against Hunger led our village. We labeled, folded boxes, measured, scooped, bagged, weighed and sealed, and labeled each bag of protein packets, rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables into shippable meals in those folded boxes for those in need.

We worked together for good and rang the gong for every 1000 meals packed. Our work got harder and easier at the same time! It’s a great event for a cause we all embrace.

Our youth did a fantastic job today leading worship on the year’s graduation Sunday. They were in charge of the service—from the Children’s moment, to a Saul becomes Paul skit, the prayers, and the sermon. Two of them played instruments for us!
