Thanks to a generous donation, the First Presbyterian Church was commissioned to support missions in our community. We were pleased to donate $1,000 to the Gothenburg Volunteer Fire Department for all they have done for our community and to replenish their supplies after their tremendous efforts in fighting the fires this Spring. What a wonderful Sunday. We celebrated two amazing young people as they graduate from high school and prepare to move on to college in the fall. We also got to talk about being living stones as the church. Here is our service for today:

Today, we had the privilege of recognizing our graduating seniors, Peyton Hilbers and Evan Johnson. Pastor David encouraged them to remember we are their family, and they will always have a home here.

Pastor David shared words of celebration and encouragement with the graduating seniors at baccalaureate tonight. Philippians 1:6, “For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.”
