Healing doesn’t happen by avoiding the hard things, it begins when we face them. It’s not about tearing ourselves down, but about letting God rebuild us the right way. Remember, guilt, shame & condemnation are not from God! He loves you and has better for you!
Matty will be talking about examining our lives because when we learn to look beyond surface behaviors to uncover root causes, (because all our actions & behaviors stem from root causes), recognize patterns, take honest ownership without blame, and see how our past shapes our present, it leads us toward confession, healing, and true freedom.
The goal isn’t shame, it’s freedom through honesty. When we bring things into the light, God brings real transformation.
God can’t heal what we won’t reveal, but the moment we bring it into the light, that’s where freedom begins!
Come out and find hope, healing and freedom through Jesus! Connect with people who will love you right where you’re at, who will come alongside you without judgement and be there for you!

It’s Gratitude Night AND Chip Club at Celebrate Recovery!
Once a quarter we host a Gratitude Night and it’s become something that many look forward to! We are so grateful for this ministry and all that God has done and continues to do through CR! It’s amazing to hear people share of His work in their lives!
The last Tuesday of every month we CELEBRATE recovery milestones. That could mean someone’s sobriety, someone’s date of beginning their journey with Jesus and much more.
None of this diminishes the hard things people are going through, but it’s so important to shift our focus to Jesus and all He has done already. It does open our eyes.
There is no growth in staying negative and critical. That shows you’re only focused on yourself. At CR, we encourage everyone to look to Jesus and move towards His hope every day.
We’d love to see you tonight! Come out and hear some power things God is doing in people’s lives.
6:30 - 8:15. 8 Elkins Rd, Gorham. Free Childcare.

If you’re feeling despair, hurt, anger, shame, or any other discouragement. Celebrate Recovery is the place to be. We love without judgment, we share hope, and you’re always welcome, even if you just want to come and observe.

This week, we’re reflecting on our journey through a spiritual inventory.
“The only one who can satisfy the human heart is the One who made it.”
Tonight, we’ll take an honest look at our lives. Our mind, body, family, and church, checking our spiritual temperature. Erin will be challenging us to see where we’re currently at. A spiritual inventory helps us connect with God as we recognize our strengths, face our weaknesses, and grow in faith. He is the only true way!
If one positive thought can change your day, imagine what small, faithful steps can do over time! God isn’t finished with you yet! There is hope, there is healing, and there is freedom waiting. Let’s come expectant, be open, and allow Him to do a work within us.
There’s a seat for you! This Tuesday, May 19th. 6:30 - 8:15, 8 Elkins Rd, Gorham. Free childcare!

It’s Testimony Tuesday, this week, May 12th, at Celebrate Recovery!

If you’ve been walking through a rough season, whether it’s been weeks, days, or just today, come out to Celebrate Recovery and be encouraged. Who knows? You may actually resonate and feel a light of hope.
Skye will be sharing her testimony and you will be amazed at the work God has done in her life. He is a God of restoration, a God of healing the broken pieces and creating something new. Nothing and no one heals us like Jesus. If you feel broken, hopeless, no self worth, you are not alone in your mess. You are not alone in the pain you’ve kept buried deep.
We all carry something. We all have struggles. We all fall into unhealthy patterns or survival mode at times.
But we don’t have to stay there.
God sees you, He knows you and He’s there waiting for your willingness to turn to Him.
Come out to CR, you will be loved and accepted as you are. 8 Elkins Rd, Gorham. 6:30-8:15. Free Childcare!

ALSO! If you currently attend CR, we are having a Memorial Day Cookout at the Burrs, Monday, May 25th @ 2:00pm. Reach out for address. Bring your family, a dish or treat to share, lawn chairs and pool stuff!

We all have 2 choices: stay stuck or move forward. Victim or overcomer. If you’re tired of searching, tired of running, maybe it’s time to search for Jesus. He’s been waiting for you. We can’t stay the same and expect change. We have to choose and not choosing is still choosing. Surrender to God and grow, or stay where we are.
Tonight, we will talk about taking a moral inventory, what it means and how it helps us get unstuck. Don’t let discouragement and doubt take over. We all have limits, but God can do far more than we can imagine. He is our true security and the one who brings order to the mess.

Each week, 40+ people come to CR, some in deep struggles, some making progress, others have overcome so much, all on a journey. Life won’t be perfect, but we can become who God created us to be, better than yesterday.

Come find support. Come encourage someone else. You don’t have to do life alone. Healing, peace, and freedom are possible. Tonight, 6:30 at LifeChurch, 8 Elkins Rd, Gorham. Childcare provided

Don’t let shame keep you silent.
We all carry things. Choices we’ve made or things that have been done to us that can leave us feeling ashamed and hurt. Those feelings are real, and it’s okay to acknowledge them… just don’t stay stuck there.
Tonight is Testimony Tuesday and Chip Club at Celebrate Recovery!
Come hear a powerful testimony from Nicole from the Lewiston CR and celebrate victories in Jesus! When we turn to Him and find our worth in Christ alone, when we shift our thinking, it shifts our life.
That’s what I love about Celebrate Recovery and our incredible God! We are invited to release shame and guilt and step into renewal, strength, and hope.

Freedom is possible.
Burdens can be lifted.
Chains can be broken.
Families can be restored.

Come be surrounded by people who understand. You don’t have to do this alone.

At some point we have to commit to moving beyond our hurts, our guilts and let go of what should’ve happened and live in what is happening. We can only go so long with pretending it doesn’t exist, or it never happened. Once we look at our pain and talk through it, it releases us from that prison and helps someone else. It no longer has power over us.
This Tuesday, 4/21, Kerrie Lee will be sharing on Step 4, MORAL.
- What patterns keep showing up in my life?
- What hurts, habits, and hang-ups am I holding onto?
- Where have I been wrong and where have I been wounded?

You are not your past. You are not your mistakes. You are not the labels the world has placed on you.
In Christ, you are forgiven, made new, and set free. When you follow Jesus, His Spirit lives within you, bringing hope, freedom, and a brand new identity.
Come experience the life you were meant to live. This Tuesday 4/21. 8 Elkins Rd, Gorham. 6:30-8. Free Childcare!!!

It’s Testimony Tuesday!
We’re excited to see you at CR tonight!
Tonight we’ll hear a powerful testimony of God’s redeeming grace, a testimony that reminds us that no one is beyond His reach, and no life is too broken for restoration. Expect to be encouraged, challenged, and reminded of the hope we have in Christ.

It’s worth asking ourselves: how much do we truly see the people around us?
Do we stay comfortable inside our own world, or do we intentionally lean into the lives of others with compassion and curiosity? Do we pause long enough to wonder about someone’s story, their struggles, their wounds, their journey, and what God might be doing in their life even now? God uses our stories, our past, our healing, our growth, to bring hope to someone else who feels alone in theirs.
We are called to be “people-builders,” to strengthen, encourage, and speak life into those around us. Kindness is a powerful thing, giving people what they need, not what they deserve. That is the heart of Jesus. He challenged people to rise into who God created them to be, He encouraged the weary, and He spoke truth with love. God never intended for us to stay stuck or wasted, He calls us forward into purpose and freedom.
Come tonight ready to experience hope, healing, and grace. 8 Elkins Rd, Gorham. 6:30-8:15. Free Childcare!

If you’ve been trying to do life alone, trying to walk through pain alone, maybe tonight is your step forward to check out Celebrate Recovery. There’s a place for you here. A seat, a community, and people who truly care. Come as you are, no pressure to share, just real people walking through real life together. None of us are perfect, we all have a past, we all mess up, but healing happens when we walk side by side and invite God into the process.
Tonight, MattyB will be sharing on what it means to have a Sponsor and how having someone walking beside you can bring encouragement, accountability, and growth in your recovery journey.
God is in the business of breaking chains.
He frees us from fear, shame, anger, resentment, and the stories we’ve believed for too long. Through Him, we are made new, forgiven, and set free!
Don’t underestimate what God can do in your life. Whatever you’re facing you don’t have to stay stuck. You were created for more. God calls you to grow, to heal, and to step into the life He has for you. Join us tonight at 6:30, 8 Elkins Rd, Gorham.
Free childcare!
