Grace Lutheran Church rejoices with Aniyah Golden upon her confirmation.

Aniyah’s confirmation verse is Luke 21:36: “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

In this verse, our Lord Jesus teaches us to live in watchfulness, prayer, and faith as we await His return. He calls us not to place our hope in the things of this world, but to stand before Him clothed in His mercy and righteousness.

We give thanks to God for the faith He gave Aniyah in Holy Baptism, for His Word by which He has instructed her, and for the gift of the Lord’s Supper which she now receives with the congregation.

May the Lord keep Aniyah watchful, prayerful, and steadfast in Christ all the days of her life.
