Here’s an update on the SMI trip so far!

The students wrapped up Day 2 of VBS today. There are 7 different teams, and each team does their VBS in two locations each day. That means 14 vacation bible schools are happening each day!!! 😱

Please be praying for energy and good health as the students continue to minister to these kids this week. Pray they are able to share the Gospel effectively and connect kids with local churches in the area.

‼️ PSA: We are switching things up a bit for the first week of each month this semester! ‼️

🍕 Middle School will have their First Wednesdays each month. They will still meet at the church; however, these Midweeks will be a little different from their regular Midweeks— there will be food, student testimonies, games, and more! Meeting this Wednesday, September 4th from 6:30-8:30pm.

🪩 High School will NOT have Midweeks on the first Wednesday of the month. Instead, they are kicking off their REC Nights starting this Friday, September 6th from 6-8pm. These will be events specifically focused on inviting and connecting with local high schools and communities to the church for games, music, and hangout time. This is replacing GO Nights for the fall semester— meaning, we will not have a High School gathering for Midweek on the first Wednesday of the month.

We have been meeting outside in the Pavilion while the building is under construction. However, due to the summer temperatures, our last Sunday services will be May 26th.
