As we gather for our final night of CCD at OLPH, we’re reminded of how far we’ve journeyed together in faith this year. In tonight’s Mass and fellowship, the Scriptures call us to reflect on what it means to remain rooted in Christ even as we are sent out into the world.
Jesus speaks of Himself as the vine and us as the branches (John 15:1–8). He reminds us that apart from Him, we can do nothing—but when we stay connected to Him, we bear much fruit. This year of CCD has been about strengthening that connection: through learning, prayer, questions, and community.
It’s not an ending but a sending. The faith we’ve explored isn’t meant to stay in the classroom—it’s meant to be lived: in kindness, in courage, in forgiveness, and in love.
Let tonight be a celebration of what God has done among us—and a reminder that He’s not finished yet.
Stay connected. Bear good fruit. And carry Christ with you wherever you go.
