It's Monday and on Mondays we like to shine a light on partner organizations that are making the world a better place day in and day out. Elders Climate Action - Minnesota does just that!

The Minnesota Chapter of Elders Climate Action is composed of climate activists from the Twin Cities area who are propelled to action by the science and critical timeline of the climate crisis. They believe elders can bring their unique strengths and wisdom to transform anxiety into organizing and action.

YOU are invited to join with other community members to view a new documentary that highlights the challenges and achievements of those growing food close to home in Minnesota. This screening of “Rooted: Stories from Minnesota’s Farming Future” is hosted by Valley members and Elder Climate Action - Minnesota. We would love to have you join us!

IT'S ALMOST HERE! We are so excited to support and host a booth at Golden Valley Pride Festival again this year!

At Valley, a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) congregation, we believe God created each of us fearfully and wonderfully, and that we are all beloved by God. However, there are many voices claiming to know better, who say otherwise. So, we enthusiastically support this incredible celebration and will be there to do our best to amplify the message of God’s love for all.

Fridays in the Valley is back this week! Join us THIS FRIDAY, JUNE 12TH, at 7pm right here at Valley! Or catch the concert via livestream!

The Twin Cities-based Marimba Bullies play upbeat, high-energy music on diatonic marimbas. Our sound is built on the rhythmically complex music of the African mbira, as played by the Shona people of Zimbabwe. The Bullies' repertoire includes traditional African tunes, music composed specifically for the ensemble, and arrangements of popular Western music. All these influences combine to create the lively, danceable, fun style that is unmistakably the Marimba Bullies.

It's Mission Monday! And it's probably not a secret, but at Valley we love our partners at PRISM Golden Valley, MN. This summer, Produce Distribution Days are back at PRISM!

PRISM is a strong, sustainable organization supporting the northwest Twin Cities suburbs by providing dignity-centered resources for food, housing, and other basic needs. Their work is a vital support in the community, and we are honored to support in any way we can.

This summer, PRISM is hosting Produce Distribution Days on select Tuesdays from 2:00-4:00 PM. All are welcome, so be sure to take advantage of this if it would be helpful for your family and spread the word!

They recommend bringing reusable totes, carts/wagons, and an extra set of hands, as produce can get heavy.
