More important than all the decorations and silly games at VBS...is the opportunity to share the Gospel with kids (& adults)! ❤️

Don't get me wrong....I love the over-the-top decorations, the crazy songs with motions, and the inevitable glitter that somehow survives until Christmas. 😂 But those things are just the backdrop.

The real goal is that every child hears about Jesus, learns God's Word, and knows just how much He loves them. That's what makes every late night, every volunteer, and every ounce of effort worth it.

VBS is all about planting Gospel seeds, changed hearts, and impacting lives for eternity!

Night 1 of VBS was all about learning that Jesus is God's perfect son!! We're working to memorize this weeks BIble Verse "I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life." - John 8:12

In Missions we met the Steelman Family from Kenya! We learned that Jambo Rafiki means "Hello Friend" in Swahili! We learned about their church in Kenya and even got to taste test ugali, a popular African food.

Kaleidoscope Crafts, Mirrorball Music, and a million games kept us busy!

It's not to late to join us for Night 2 on Friday at 6:00 PM!
