Since last week was such a great success!!! The story The Three Talking Trees by Frank Thomas Smith will be read on Friday, June 5 at 1:30 at God’s Precious Word in Thibodaux, led by Father Dean Danos. The story conveys that God has a superior plan for each of us beyond our own desires. As the heavens are elevated above the earth, so are God’s ways elevated above ours. God has a greater plan for each of us. My plans were to be a school teacher , but God’s plan for me was to be a priest. Let us pray for God’s will not ours. See you Friday at 1:30 p.m.

Help us reach 250 Holy Hours from June 3-June 11. 🇺🇸❤️

As our nation prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 11.

In response, the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux is inviting our communities to join in prayer for the unity, healing, and renewal of our country through Eucharistic Adoration. Our goal is to complete 250 Holy Hours from June 3-June 11 in honor of this historic milestone!

Today was such a beautiful and blessed day at Saint Joseph Catholic Church as our First Communion children received Jesus for the very first time with Fr. Mike.

May this special sacrament be the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith, love, and devotion. We are so proud of each child and thankful to their families for sharing this holy day with us.

Today we celebrated a special moment in our church community as we witnessed three First Holy Communions and a Baptism with Fr. Mike Tran and Bishop Sam Jacobs.

What a blessing to see these young hearts take such meaningful steps in their faith journey. Receiving the Eucharist for the first time and entering the Church through Baptism are moments that will stay with them forever.

May God continue to guide and protect each of them as they grow in faith, love, and grace.
