✨ Our Community is So Proud of Our Seniors! ✨

On Wednesday, May 20, our tight-knit community gathered to celebrate an incredible milestone for our graduating seniors. 🎓❤️

Our quilting group, represented by Pauline Litch and Lorraine Langseth, presented beautiful, handmade quilts to our graduates:
🌟 Danielle Boyd
🌟 Alyvia Couchman
🌟 Kaden Cullen
🌟 McKara Hoban
🌟 Madalynn Neisen

These quilts are woven with love, prayers, and memories from the entire community. As Danielle, Alyvia, Kaden, McKara, and Madalynn launch out into the world, these blankets will wrap them in warmth and remind them exactly who they are and whose they are. Wherever their journeys lead, they carry our love, pride, and best wishes with them! 🌍✨

A Blessing for Our Graduates:
🙏 May God carry the good work started in you through to completion.
🙏 May you have the grace to make wise choices and remain faithful to your commitments.
🙏 May God bless you with discomfort at easy answers, so you live deep within your heart.
🙏 May you feel righteous anger at injustice, so you will work for equality and peace.
🙏 May you shed tears for those who suffer, moving you to reach out and comfort them.
🙏 May you have the "foolishness" to think you can change the world - and then go do it!

We are so blessed to have watched these five amazing young people grow. Please join us in keeping these graduates in your prayers as they step into their bright futures.

What a beautiful reminder from Matthew 28:20: "And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age".

No matter where life takes us today, we never have to walk alone! Jesus has given us a wonderful, joy-filled purpose to share His love, hope, and grace with those around us. Let’s make it our mission to spread kindness, be a light, and encourage each other as we go about our week. How will you share His love today?

The Glyndon Community Food Pantry is here to support our neighbors! We are located inside the Glyndon Lutheran Church at 414 Parke Ave. S. Please use the Southside Doors for entry.

Below are our open dates and times for the month of May:

Honoring the Brave: A Memorial Day Remembrance

Today, we pause as a nation to remember, honor, and give thanks for the ultimate sacrifice made by the men and women of our armed forces.

Memorial Day is not just an extra day off or the beginning of summer. It is a sacred day of remembrance. It is a time to look back with deep gratitude at those who selflessly gave up all of their tomorrows so that we could live in freedom today.

A Prayer for Memorial Day:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our hearts in gratitude for the courageous souls who laid down their lives in service to our country. We pray today for the families left behind - the gold star parents, spouses, and children who still carry the heavy burden of their loss. Wrap them in Your comfort and peace. May we never take our freedom for granted, and may we live lives worthy of the incredible sacrifices made on our behalf. Bring peace to our world, and heal our land. Amen. 🙏
