Tuesday, May 28 is our family cookout! Trailman and their entire families are invited to join us at Johnson Park in Glyndon (1200 Parke Ave S, Glyndon, MN) from 6:00p - 8:00p for food and activities! We'll be providing burgers, hot dogs, buns, and lemonade & water. Please bring a salad, side, or a dessert to share. Following supper, the trailman will be receive the rewards they've earned thus far.

Again, the entire family is welcome to attend! This is a great opportunity to get to know one another in a relaxed setting.

Due to the windy, blizzardy weather, tonight's Trail Life Meeting has been officially canceled.

It's Maranatha's policy to cancel all church activities if DGF cancels classes. DGF moved to e-learning today [some outcome as canceling]. However, with earlier forecast of a calm afternoon & evening, we wanted to wait and see. Things have gotten better since the morning, but we feel it's prudent to cancel for this evening.

So, instead of a TL meeting, maybe you can help a neighbor shovel out? Just stay warm!

Our next meeting is Tuesday, March 12. See you then!

Join us on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 6-7:30p for our Kick Off Event! We'll have some trail snacks, knot tying demonstrations, and talk about the program and what the year looks like for our Troop. There will be an opportunity to register your boys for Trail Life – or you can takes some information about how to register home. We hope that you can join us as we hit the trail!

We are hoping to [finally!] begin meeting in January! In preparation for that, we welcome you to come to Peak 1 and Peak 2 Training on November 10 & 11 at Maranatha Free Lutheran (Glyndon, MN).

On Friday, November 10, from 5:30-8:30p, a representative from Trail Life USA will be at Maranatha to conduct Peak 1 Training. Peak 1 is for all adults interested in helping the troop or who are interested in having their boys attend. Friday evening's session will provide a general overview of Trail Life and the basic operations of local Troop ministries. It covers the “essences” of Trail Life - the aligned mission, vision, Core Values — and what members of Trail Life can expect to experience in this youth adventure ministry. It is designed to help Troops and families develop a fundamental understanding of how Trail Life works.

Then, on Saturday, November 11, we'll conduct Peak 2 Training. This is an all-day event, beginning at 8:30a, that dives deeper into some of the leadership aspects of the Troop. Lunch will be provided for this training event.
