Introducing our Glenville Presbyterian 2026 graduate, Kendra!

She plans to go to the local university and study Early Elementary Education. One day, Kendra would like to be a kindergarten teacher.

Kendra is one of our church’s ‘Live Service Producers’. She is also an active member of her Girl Scout troop and in her community. While in high school, she was Vice President of the Thespian Society, Student Council President, and Marching Titan Color Guard Captain. She has also recently earned her Girl Scout Gold Award (the highest honor a Girl Scout can earn) by publishing a children’s book about Rosie the Riveter!

Congratulations to her and all the other 2026 graduates for your many achievements! ❤️🤍💙🎓

Lord- from the heart of a daughter:

Thank You for every mother and every part of the maternal village- grandmothers, aunts, pastors, teachers, coaches, and sisters in Christ- who nurture, encourage, pray for, guide, and love others so well. Thank You for the women who show up with open arms, kind words, warm meals, listening ears, and faithful hearts. Their love leaves lasting fingerprints on generations. 💛

If you don’t have plans Sunday morning, come to church with us. It’s the perfect way to start the day, with a little peace, encouragement, and time to reset for the week ahead 🤍

Lord,

Thank You for the quiet miracles You place before us in every season.

From the gourds that dried, composted, and returned to the earth last fall, You have brought new life and fresh growth. Remind us that nothing surrendered to Your care is ever wasted.

Let these new vines that stretch toward the sun be encouragement to our hearts that we may grow in wisdom, patience, and faith. Teach us to trust the unseen work happening beneath the surface, knowing that even in decay, You are preparing something beautiful and fruitful.

May these growing gourds be a reminder that renewal follows every season, and that Your creation continually reflects hope, purpose, and new beginnings.

Amen.

Heavenly Father,

As the sun sets and the sky is painted with Your glory, we remember Your call in Hebrews 12:1 - to lay aside every weight and run with endurance the race before us. Help us to live our faith boldly, like light breaking through the clouds, so others may see You in us.

Give us courage to share Your love, strength to persevere, and hearts that reflect Your grace in all we do.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of community and the reminder in Your Word to encourage one another in love and good works. Help us to be consistently mindful of those around us, to lift each other up, and to gather together faithfully. Stir in our hearts a desire to connect, to support, and to grow stronger in You as one body. Let our time together in worship, fellowship, and fulfillment of your mission be filled with grace, joy, and purpose. Amen.
