Today, we pause to thank God for the work He has placed in our hands.

Whether you’re teaching, building, serving, caring for others, creating, studying, leading, volunteering, or working behind the scenes, your labor matters to Him.

As we celebrate Labor Day, we’re grateful for every member of our church family who reflects Christ through their faithfulness at work, at home and in our community.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” — Colossians 3:23

On National Read a Book Day, we’re celebrating the Book that continues to transform lives.

Through every season, its pages remind us who God is and how deeply He loves us.

Opening God’s Word is something worth doing every day, but today is a wonderful reminder to spend a few extra moments in Scripture.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. - Psalm 119:105

You are not defined by your past, your failures, your fears or the labels others have placed on you.

Through Jesus, your identity has already been established. The question is: are you living from that truth?

This Sunday, we’ll explore the freedom God offers and the healing work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Join us as Pastor David Anderson shares a message that may challenge what’s holding you back . . . and remind you of who you truly are.

Join us this holiday weekend. We’d love to worship with you.

Worship has a way of re-centering our hearts on what is true. As we pause this Wednesday, may these words encourage you to look to Jesus:

“I love singing about what Jesus did for us on the Cross and how He conquered the grave and how every fear, in light of that, now pales in comparison, and everything that was beautiful becomes more beautiful because it’s all wrapped up in who He is. Everything is wrapped in Him.

Through the lens of Him, a clarity is brought to all life.”

National Letter Writing Day reminds us that encouragement can travel a long way.

At our recent WorldReach Conference, we invited our church family to write notes of encouragement to our missionaries around the world. A simple card, letter or handwritten note can be a powerful reminder that they are loved, prayed for and remembered by their church family.

As partners in God’s global mission, we have the privilege of encouraging those who are serving faithfully in places near and far.

➡️ Email [email protected] for information about our missionary partners and where to send your letter.

Yesterday, our church family was reminded that God is at work far beyond our own community.

On Nyamwezi Sunday, we heard stories from Team Tanzania, worshiped together as our Kids Choir sang in Swahili, and spent time praying for the Nyamwezi people - one of our church’s Breakthrough Prayer initiatives.

Thank you to everyone who shared, prayed and joined us in asking God to do what only He can do:

“Father, use us to build a reproducing church among an unreached people, the Nyamwezi, by 2030.”

Please continue praying with us for the Nyamwezi people, for the believers serving among them and for the day when thriving churches are established throughout their communities.

This Sunday is Nyamwezi Sunday, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

We’ll hear stories from the team that spent time among the Nyamwezi people in Tanzania this summer, worship together as our Kids Choir shares a song in Swahili and spend time praying for one of our church’s Breakthrough Prayer initiatives.

Between services, stop by the front patio to meet members of Team Tanzania - past and present. They’d love to share about their experiences and have a special gift to help all of us remember to pray for the Nyamwezi people.

“Father, use us to build a reproducing church among an unreached people, the Nyamwezi, by 2030.”

See you Sunday (service times: 8 | 9:30 | 11am).

Tonight is our monthly Nyamwezi Zoom - an opportunity to pause, get an update and pray together for one of our church’s Breakthrough Prayer.

Please join us at 7:00pm as we hear current updates from team members who have just returned from Tanzania and learn how we can partner together in specific and informed prayer.

Whether you’ve joined these calls before or have been meaning to check one out, you’re welcome. We’d love to have you with us tonight.
