How desperate must you be to sell part of your own body just to survive?

In Iran, people are advertising their kidneys for sale — a devastating picture of the economic desperation facing ordinary families.

Some are surviving on just one basic meal a day. For many, regular protein and dairy are no longer affordable. There are no luxuries — daily life has become about struggling to meet the most basic needs for survival.

Transform Iran is working through trusted networks inside the country to bring practical help to people in desperate need — including food, hygiene items and medical supplies — alongside the hope of the gospel.

Please don’t look away. Pray for the people of Iran. Help us bring hope and practical support to those who are hurting.

New technology has always raised questions about risk, responsibility and how it might change the way we do things.

The printing press was no exception. Today, AI is prompting many of the same kinds of questions — including within the Church.

For Transform Iran President & CEO Lana Silk, the answer isn't to ignore the risks, but neither is it to allow fear to determine our response.

“Everything has the potential to be used for harm, and we can’t let fear guide us.”

In a recent interview with The Christian Post, Lana shares how Transform Iran is approaching AI intentionally through Kairos — grounding the platform in Scripture and carefully curated apologetics content to give people a safe, accessible way to explore questions about Jesus and the Christian faith.

And we're already seeing the impact. During protests in Iran earlier this year, one man found Kairos after having Jesus on his mind for a year but not knowing who to talk to. After exploring his questions through Kairos, he chose to follow Jesus.

Just as previous generations learned to harness new technology for the gospel, we believe today's Church has an opportunity — and a responsibility — to engage AI wisely and make it serve God's purposes.

Iranians are being rounded up, interrogated and reportedly executed as the regime searches for anyone it considers a threat.

As repression intensifies, communication with people inside Iran has also become increasingly difficult — making it harder for believers and seekers to access pastors, discipleship and trusted Christian guidance.

But God had already been preparing for this moment.

Just months before the latest crisis, Transform Iran launched Kairos, an AI-powered tool designed to provide personalized, biblically grounded discipleship and answers to questions about faith at scale.

We couldn't have known that within months, protests, government crackdowns and war would severely restrict communication with Iran.

Now, even when people cannot reach a pastor, they have somewhere to take their questions — to explore faith, understand what God says about what is happening around them, and learn what it means to follow Christ.

God has faithfully prepared our ministry time and again to meet needs before we even knew they would arise.

According to human rights organizations, Leila Moallemi, originally from Bandar Abbas and living in Mashhad, has reportedly been sentenced by the Revolutionary Court of Mashhad to 10 years in prison.

The reason behind such a severe sentence? Sending an audio file to media outlets outside Iran during the 40-day war between Iran, Israel and the United States.

The message was reportedly neither a call for violence nor armed action.

Instead, Leila expressed concern about the health and safety of students in Minab, saying that under wartime conditions, it would have been better for the school principal to evacuate the students.

That statement reportedly became part of the judicial case against her — resulting in a 10-year prison sentence.

Please pray for Leila and her family, and for all those facing imprisonment and severe punishment for speaking out in Iran.

Pray for justice and mercy. Pray for those living under intense repression and fear. And pray that the voices of the Iranian people will not be silenced.

The IRGC’s reach extends deep into Iranian life. But that doesn’t tell the whole story of where Iran’s people are spiritually.

Iran’s regime-linked political, military and economic structures have enormous reach, but it is important to distinguish those invested in that system from the wider Iranian population.

After decades of Islam being intertwined with state power, there are now relatively few committed, practicing Muslims outside that regime-linked sphere. Many Iranians have become deeply disillusioned with what Islam has meant for their country and their lives.

Yet turning away from Islam does not necessarily mean turning away from God.

Across Iran, people are searching for truth, asking questions about Jesus and exploring Christianity — even as the Church continues to face intense pressure.

A 22-year-old medical student is facing a death sentence in Iran.

Sepehr Amirzadeh was arrested on January 13 following the January 2026 protests. Reports indicate that his arrest was connected to his provision of medical assistance to people injured during demonstrations in Isfahan. His family has reportedly faced pressure from security agencies to remain silent about his case.

Sepehr is among a growing number of prisoners facing death sentences amid a renewed wave of ex*****ons and death-penalty cases in Iran.

The targeting of those caught up in the protests — including people accused of helping the injured — comes amid an ongoing humanitarian and human rights crisis.

Please pray for Sepehr, for his family, and for all those facing imprisonment and ex*****on in Iran. Pray too for those working to bring practical help, hope and support to people affected by the crisis.

Two members of our team were arrested. House raids are happening. People are being stopped in the street and their phones searched.

And yet Iranian Christian leaders continue to travel to reach isolated believers — encouraging them, discipling them and sharing the gospel, despite knowing the risks if they are stopped.

In this conversation with Rick Osborne from a few weeks ago, Lana shares a sobering glimpse of what Christians in Iran are facing right now — and why our prayer is not only for their protection, but for courage, wisdom and Holy Spirit guidance as the gospel continues to advance.

As persecution intensifies in Iran, the Church keeps growing.

“I don’t need God.” That was Siroos’ conclusion.

Years later, when his life had taken a very different turn, he opened a Bible for an unexpected reason: he needed a convincing Christian conversion story to help him leave Iran.

He began reading Matthew. And the story he intended to fake became very real.

Watch Siroos tell more of what happened and read the remarkable full story of where that encounter eventually led him:

For nearly two months, many of you followed Arotin's remarkable journey by bicycle from the Netherlands to the border of Iran in solidarity with the country's persecuted Christians.

In this personal reflection, Arotin shares how God met him throughout the journey. Every climb, every setback and every moment of exhaustion became a reminder of the courage and perseverance of Iran's persecuted Christians—and why they continue to inspire him.

Be encouraged by Arotin's story and discover why standing with the persecuted Church matters now more than ever.
