Our Spring/Early Summer Wednesday night series is called "The Lies Satan Whispers"

Theme & Goal: We all have that voice inside us that tells us something negative about our relationship with God. That "voice" I call "Satan." I want to challenge some of those messages with Bible truths. Hopefully, we will learn to discern what is a "lie" that is hurting our relationship with Jesus and when is the Holy Spirit challenging us to change or to grow closer to Jesus.

Session 1 (TONIGHT at 7:00) - Who is Satan? What is his nature? What is his desire? How are common spiritual lies "told" or "whispered" in our ears today?

Each Wednesday Night at 7:00 we will consider a "lie" or two and see what God's Word tells us. This list is not complete and we will do this for the next month or two.

Lies We Hear or Tell Ourselves:
1. God can't or won't love me because of my past/present sin(s)
2. I just need to be "good enough" and then God will let me into heaven
3. There are many ways to get to heaven, I just need to choose one
4. I can do it on my own. I don't need a church.
5. If only I was more like ... I would be a better Christian. If I try harder God will love me more.
6. The Bible is an outdated book and too complicated to understand
7. Bible facts are the most important part of my spiritual life
8. It's too late for me. I'm too old now to really change
