Come join us for our annual Fall Festival and Hay Ride at Mt. Tabor on
Sunday, October 18th, 3:00 - 7:00 PM.
There will be a chili cook off, games, costume contests for children and for adults (if you want to participate) and a hay ride.

So make your favorite chili, soup or whatever you want to bring and come enjoy the fun and fellowship at Mt. Tabor this Sunday afternoon.

Be sure to invite all your family and friends. If you see or talk to anyone from the church, please remind them of the Fall Festival and hay ride. See you Sunday!!

Celebrating 16 Years of Faithful Service, Love, and Dedication! 🙏

Today, the Mt. Tabor Church family joyfully celebrates and honors our Pastor for 16 wonderful years of faithfully serving the Lord and loving His people.

Pastor, your ministry has touched each of us in ways that words can hardly express. Through your preaching and teaching, you have helped us grow in faith. Through your prayers, you have strengthened us. Through your encouragement, you have reminded us that we are never alone. You have celebrated our victories, stood with us in difficult seasons, prayed over our families, visited us in times of need, and offered comfort when our hearts were hurting.

For 16 years, you have faithfully shepherded this church family with compassion, wisdom, and a servant’s heart. You have welcomed new faces, encouraged weary hearts, helped restore hope, and poured into the lives of so many. Because of your faithfulness, countless individuals and families have been blessed, strengthened, and drawn closer to the Lord.

Your ministry reaches far beyond the pulpit. It is seen in the prayers you pray, the calls you make, the hospital visits you give, the counsel you offer, and the countless sacrifices you make—many of which happen quietly and go unseen. But we see you. We see your love for God, your love for people, and your unwavering commitment to Mt. Tabor.

Thank you for every sermon, every prayer, every word of encouragement, and every moment you have given to this church family. We appreciate you more than we can say, and we thank God for the blessing of your leadership and friendship!

💛 Happy Grandparents Day! 💛

Today at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, we celebrate the wonderful grandparents who have blessed our families and our church with their love, wisdom, prayers, and faithful example.

Grandparents hold such a special place in our hearts. They are storytellers, prayer warriors, encouragers, teachers, and often the ones who help pass our faith from one generation to the next. ❤️

To all of our grandparents — thank you for the legacy you are building. Your prayers matter. Your example matters. And the love you pour into your children and grandchildren will reach farther than you may ever know.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and church family member, William Earl Bowles.

Brother William Earl’s kindness, warm spirit, and faithful presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. While our hearts grieve his passing, we rejoice in the promise that those who know the Lord have the hope of eternal life.

Please join us in praying for his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May God surround them with His peace, comfort, and strength in the days ahead.

As we celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary, we pause to thank God for His many blessings upon America. We remember those who courageously sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today, and we pray that our country will continue to seek God’s wisdom, truth, and grace.

May this Independence Day remind us that while we cherish our earthly freedoms, the greatest freedom is found through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
