Today was a bittersweet day as we wished Gavin Garten well and prayed for his protection as he has enlisted in the United States Navy and will be leaving this week. He even came up for one last children’s message. God bless you, Gavin!!

Yesterday, we celebrated Pentecost - the birthday of the church. Thanks to everyone who donated “birthday cake kits.” We collected forty-four kits that will be donated to Manna Meal later this week.

Step back in time this Memorial Day Weekend at historic Virginia’s Chapel.

We invite the community to visit and experience this treasured piece of local history during our Memorial Day Weekend Open House. Guests are welcome to walk the grounds, tour the chapel, and enjoy the sound of the historic pump organ being played at select times throughout the day.

📍Open House Hours:
Saturday, May 23 — 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Sunday, May 24 — 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Built in 1853 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Virginia’s Chapel continues to serve as a place of history, reflection, and community.

Everyone is welcome! We hope you will stop by and experience the beauty and heritage of Virginia’s Chapel.
