Just a pondering thought… From my daily devotional… Do your life’s actions and choices affirm the reality of Christ as Lord, or do they undermine it? Many people profess Christ, but their life choices suggest otherwise. Some go so far as to appoint and anoint themselves as leaders but refuse to serve or lift a finger to help others. True leaders will not have to tell you their position or title; they will prove it by their willingness to step into the ditch with those needing assistance. It comes down to the old adage: if you’re going to talk the talk, then you need to also walk the walk. Don’t just say it; prove it first by your choices to live it. Have a great week! Blessings!

- Waiting. A difficult but necessary part of the discipleship journey. Waiting builds trust and faith in our Lord and His promise-keeping. And it yields results, including growth and an intrinsic peace for tomorrow's trials and tests of our faith. So wait, patiently and prayerfully, for your God has not looked or walked away from your current situation, no matter how hopeless it may seem. He sees you and He is with you, just as He has promised in His Word multiple times. The reward of your waiting will be the revelation of His will!

- God’s timing is perfect. Always. Trust Him to bring to reality in the natural what He has revealed in the supernatural. He can and He will…IN HIS TIME! We make a mess of things when we try to force His will into being. But when we have faith in His ability to "make things happen," submit to Him our desire to do His will, and place ourselves on the altar of trust and obedience, we set the stage for demonstrations of His power and purpose. So, whatever promise God has made to you and for you, trust in His timing, wait patiently, and praise Him for what He is going to do. And remember, WHILE YOU ARE WAITING, GOD IS WORKING! 🙏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻👍🏻

- So very easy to get caught up in and focused more on the things of this world than those of the unseen and eternal. Asking the Spirit to help and to enable God's people today to be mindful of our place and His purposes for us, to remember that this world is not our home, and to not allow the good or the better to distract us from the best—building His Kingdom by proclaiming and practicing the redemptive message of Jesus Christ.

- Not every roar you hear is from the Lion of Judah.

Be careful to whom you listen, Christ-follower. As Scripture says, "Be alert," for Satan also goes about as a roaring lion, seeking to devour and destroy those who do God's work. And social media is one of his (and his minions') greatest tools to do just that. Don't take any accusation or allegation at face value. Remember, there are two sides to EVERY story. As First Thessalonians 5:21 commands, "Test all things. Hold fast to what is good." Pray for discernment because stated motives and actions are not always authentic. And practice Micah 6:8 in all you do: "Do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God."
