It was great to see some of our Missions Partners, the Laws family, and hear an update on their Kingdom work in the Amazon jungle. They have been serving for over 10 years in Peru, where God is using them in a powerful way.

Church, let's keep praying and supporting this wonderful family! Below are some specific needs you can lift up right now. If you want to know more about supporting them or any of our Missions Partners through a financial gift, let us know!

It's Pastor Appreciation Month and a great time to recognize Cornerstone's amazing Pastor, Dr. Michael Goacher!

Thank you Pastor Michael, for all you do, both seen and unseen, for the sacrifices you and your family make, for teaching and challenging us as you faithfully preach God's word, and for leading us so well. We deeply appreciate your integrity, humility, and genuine love for our church and community. We are so thankful that God led you to Cornerstone four years ago!

1. Recognize that ministry is a calling that shapes the entire household.

2. Offer Pastors’ kids the same grace, room to grow, and space to stumble as every other kid in your congregation.

3. Pray for ministry families as often as you pray for your pastor.

Could you use some encouragement when looking at the political landscape? It's easy in election seasons to become stressed or discouraged. But God's Word reminds us that no matter who's elected or who thinks they're in charge--God is the one who's really in charge. Rejoice! He is King over all. (Psalm 47)

Yesterday, we took a moment to appreciate our wonderful Children's Ministry Coordinator, Emily Meinhart! Thank you Emily, for the way you serve with such love, care, thoughtfulness and intentionality. You are a tremendous blessing to all of us here at Cornerstone. We thank God for you!

Rejoicing in all that God did through the women's fall retreat! Thank you Dr. Jenifer Wakefield for rich teaching about biblical rest, and to the Women's Ministry team and volunteers who made it such a special day!
