What stuck with you from Sunday? 📝

We got a peek inside someone's sermon notes, and these reminders were too good not to share!

Sunday, we were reminded that joy is rooted in the self-sacrificing humility of Jesus. He humbled Himself, gave His life for us, and showed us what it truly means to put others before ourselves.

And this one is worth thinking about all week:

You cannot have His mind if He doesn't have your heart.

Growing together starts with looking to Jesus.

As we’ve been learning about unity and humility, tomorrow we’ll look at Jesus Himself—who humbly came to us and gave His life for us.

If heaven is our home, shouldn’t the way we live reflect it?

Sunday, Pastor Jimmy reminded us that the joy of heavenly citizenship is experienced through unity and humility.

We’re called to stand together, fight FOR each other, and pursue unity. But that kind of unity doesn’t just happen. It takes humility.

And humility isn’t just something we talk about. It’s something we practice in the everyday moments.

So here’s our challenge this week: Find one way to put humility into action. Serve someone without needing recognition. Choose gratitude over complaining. Or, intentionally put someone else’s needs before your own.

Let’s live like heaven is our home—because it is!

What is your JOY dependent on?

Over the past two Sundays, we've been reminded through Philippians that true joy isn't found in perfect circumstances. It's found in Christ.

Whether we're growing together in gospel community or walking through seasons of suffering, our source of joy remains the same.

Our circumstances may change, but the source of our joy NEVER does!
