A Prayer for the End of the School Year
God of every ending and every new beginning,
as another school year comes to a close,
we pause to give you thanks.
Thank you for teachers who encouraged, challenged, and cared.
Thank you for students who learned, grew, and persevered.
Thank you for friendships formed, lessons learned,
and the countless moments of joy, struggle, discovery, and laughter along the way.
We pray for every child moving on to a new grade,
every student finishing exams,
every teacher beginning a well-earned break,
and every family stepping into a new rhythm for summer.
Bring rest to those who are weary,
peace to those carrying stress or uncertainty,
and joy and anticipation for the days ahead.
May this summer be filled with renewal and play,
with meaningful time together,
with moments of quiet and moments of adventure.
And wherever we go, remind us that your presence goes with us too.
In every season, you are faithful.
