The Community Women’s Fitness Classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30–10:30 a.m. in the Family Life Center. Led by Irene Garrett, the low-impact class focuses on stretching, balance, flexibility, and strength. Cost is $20 per month for two classes per week (payable to PHCC and brought to class).

One of the first things you will notice is that we enjoy praising God through music. We have an adult choir and youth choir who present musicals for Easter and Christmas and Special Music throughout the year. For the congregational singing, you may follow along on the big screen up front or use a songbook from the pew. Song numbers for the day may be found in your weekly bulletin.

All families who are worshiping with us are asked to complete an information card for any children from infants to college age. The blank cards are available on the Youth Bulletin Board and can be given to Tammy Hand or Debbie Hammack.

All youth in Preschool—Kindergarten can attend a class each Sunday (dismissal will be immediately before the sermon) in the FLC. Children can worship with their parents and are then dismissed following the special music. They proceed to their own worship experience where they learn about the Bible in an age appropriate way during the sermon and return to their parents at the end of the service.

Just a reminder to check the graves of your loved ones in the old and new church cemeteries and remove and/or replace the old flowers and decorations that have become worn and faded. Thank you for helping us keep our cemeteries looking beautiful and clean.

Father God, With Your never-ending love and goodness, You offer us so many opportunities in life to use our gifts and talents. Blessings You have generously and graciously given. And it is in Your almighty, sovereign strength alone that all our efforts are executed and made possible. However, many times we are guilty of taking too much credit, assuming control of our outcomes, and then struggling to slow down in our striving. Forgive us for not sufficiently stopping to acknowledge You as our true source of strength and power. We are thankful for the work and plans You place before us, but we can become consumed, tired, and long for refills of rest. Help us release to You whatever is behind us and all that is in front of us. Fortify our confidence that You will be exalted, that You will be lifted up, and that Your will will be done. Help us to rest in these truths. Help us to truly rest with You. Help us rest in You. Lord, You are trustworthy, and we trust You. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
