What is your PURPOSE?

In the Bible, purpose is defined as God’s overarching, eternal plan for creation and humanity's specific calling to participate in that plan. Rather than self-made ambitions, biblical purpose centers on knowing God, living in obedience, and glorifying Him.

1. Glorifying God
The fundamental purpose of human existence is to bring glory to God in all things.

1 Corinthians 10:31: "Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."

2. Loving God and Others
Jesus summarized the ultimate spiritual objective into two core commandments, which encompass the purpose of the law.

Matthew 22:37-39: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind... Love your neighbor as yourself.”

3. Fulfilling Good Works
The Bible teaches that believers are uniquely designed by God and equipped with gifts to do "good works" that He planned out in advance.

Ephesians 2:10: "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

4. Serving God's Kingdom Agenda
Every person has a part to play in furthering God's kingdom on earth, which brings ultimate personal fulfillment.

Romans 8:28: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
