CELEBRATION TIME... CELEBRATE WHAT GOD IS DOING IN YOUR LIFE...

In the Bible, celebration is an expression of worship, remembrance, and communal joy. It is centered on acknowledging God's faithfulness, His mighty acts, and His provision. The overarching purpose is to dwell on the goodness of God and share that gratitude with others.

Key forms of celebration include:

Festivals and Feasts: The Old Testament outlines major festivals (such as Passover, Pentecost, and the Feast of Tabernacles). These were "appointed times" where God commanded Israel to rest, rejoice, and remember how He delivered and provided for them.

Spontaneous Joy: Scripture frequently describes unrestrained joy and praise. This includes King David dancing enthusiastically before the Ark of the Covenant, and the angels rejoicing at the birth of Jesus Christ.

Communal Fellowship: Early Christians in the New Testament celebrated together by gathering, sharing meals, and praising God.

A Spiritual Discipline: Christian theologians, such as Dallas Willard, note that celebration is the "completion of worship". It is the intentional practice of enjoying life and God’s gifts in conjunction with faith.

LISTEN.. REPEAT AFTER ME.. I SURRENDER.

In the Bible, SURRENDER means willingly yielding control of your life to God, prioritizing His purposes over your own will. While the exact word "surrender" rarely appears in scripture, the concept of submission, yielding, and wholehearted trust is a central theme of the Christian faith.

1. Key Meanings
Relinquishing Control: Letting go of your own plans, timelines, and selfish desires to trust in God's sovereignty.

Alignment: Arranging your life under God's divine direction rather than relying on the world's viewpoints.

Active Obedience: It is not a sign of defeat, but an active, courageous choice to worship and follow God.

2. Examples in ScriptureJesus in the Garden of Gethsemane:

The ultimate model of surrender is found in Luke 22:42, where Jesus prays, "Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.

"Abraham's Sacrifice: Abraham demonstrates the surrender of his most prized possession in Genesis 22, showing absolute trust in God's provision.

3. Core Bible Verses

Romans 12:1: Urges believers to present their bodies as a "living sacrifice," which is described as your spiritual act of worship.

Psalm 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God," which often means releasing the need to control or fix situations on your own.

Galatians 2:20: Emphasizing that believers no longer live for themselves, but Christ lives within them.

SATISFIED SATURDAY!!!

In the Bible, true satisfaction is presented as a spiritual state of fulfillment that comes exclusively from God, rather than from material wealth, worldly success, or fleeting pleasures. It is most prominently framed as finding contentment, joy, and peace through a deeply rooted relationship with God.

1. God as the Only True Source
Scripture emphasizes that human desires—like spiritual hunger and thirst—cannot be satisfied by earthly pursuits. Instead, God alone satisfies the "longing soul":

Psalm 107:9: "For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things".

John 6:35: Jesus said, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst".

Psalm 63:5: "My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips"
