GOOD FRIDAY ✝️

On this Good Friday, let's paused to remember the profound sacrifice Jesus made for us, a testament to unconditional love and the ultimate hope for renewal. It's a day that holds deep reflection for what we can overcome and the grace that guides us through this life. To all the incredible mamas in this group, may we find comfort in this message of sacrifice and love, and let it reinforce our strength and resilience. Maundy Thursday is the fifth day of the Holy Week, and Christ's "mandate" is commemorated on Maundy Thursday. It was on the Thursday of Christ's final week before being crucified and resurrected that He said this commandment to His disciples. Jesus and His disciples had just shared what was known as the Last Supper and he was washing their feet when he stated:
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another" (John 13:34).
Mama, we here at Embrace Life love and value each of you so very much. We are honored you have chosen to walk through this journey of being a single mom with us!
And while we REMEMBER all that Jesus endured and sacrificed for us, REMEMBER He did that for not only you, but your sweet and precious child(ren)! He thought of you AND your family while He was dying on the cross.
Let us not ever take that for granted 🤍

This Sunday, March 3rd is the kickoff of Embrace Life at Cherokee Creek Baptist Church!! Our small group, held during the Sunday school hour, will be focused on single motherhood and the challenges that mommas can face. We will be focusing on what God has to say about parenting, and the LOVE that he has for ALL of us, no matter our situation or station in life.
Please join us in praying for all the women that can be reached, and the growth we can all achieve as we start this Bible study!
