Sunday, July 19, 2026 was a joyful day in the life of Sardinia Presbyterian Church as the Rev. Dr. Jerry Straight was officially installed as our next pastor by a commission of P*e Dee Presbytery.

We are thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness in bringing Dr. Jerry, Stacey, and their family to Sardinia. It has already been a blessing to get to know them, and we look forward to serving Christ together in the years ahead.

We were blessed by a beautiful installation service, followed by a lovely reception celebrating God’s gracious provision for our church.

Please continue to pray for the Straight family as they settle into our church and community. We look forward with joyful anticipation to all the Lord has in store for Sardinia Presbyterian Church as we seek to glorify Him together.

Come celebrate all that God has done this week as our builders share what they’ve learned through songs, Scripture, and special moments from VBS!

We will also be receiving a special offering for Sheds of Hope, a ministry of Mission to North America (MNA), the mission arm of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Sheds of Hope partners with local churches to provide storage sheds and practical assistance to families recovering from natural disasters and other hardships, opening doors to share the hope of Christ and build lasting relationships. Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! ✝️

What a blessing it was to gather this morning for our Sunrise Service, continuing a special tradition here at Sardinia Presbyterian Church. The time of worship, followed by a wonderful meal and fellowship, made for a meaningful start to this Resurrection Sunday.

A heartfelt thank you to our early risers who prepared such a delicious breakfast, and to those who faithfully led us in worship this morning—we are so grateful.

We would love for you to join us again for Easter Sunday Worship at 11:15 AM as we continue celebrating our risen Savior!

We’ll begin the morning with our Sunrise Service at 6:30 AM, followed by breakfast together.

Then come back for Morning Worship at 11:15 AM as we rejoice in the Resurrection of our Savior.
