We had a joyous time in The Lord at our Auunal Outside Worship Service. A special thank you to Congruity Presbyterian Church for worshipping with us and blessing us with your musical selections.

An excerpt from Pastor Cheek’s sermon.

“The Bible is a holy book — God-breathed and useful for teaching, and training in righteousness — but when it takes precedent over Christ, we are in danger of putting the law over love. This book was never intended to support OUR WAY…or his way… or their way. The good book was written in order to point us TO THE WAY. The Word was written to point us to the Word Made Flesh.

Friends, whomever is in office, wherever the power lies, our path does not change.

Oh, mortal, what does the Lord require of you? But to DO Justice, Love Mercy, and walk humbly with your God.

That is what we will do, church. It has always been our calling, it has always been our purpose and it always will be.

We will remain faithful to THE WAY — Following close to Jesus, the Good Shepherd, the Gate, the True Vine, the Bread of Life, the Light of the World.

He will be our guide.”
