This is Brent Kidder writing to let you know the details about my mom's service, which is taking place at the Haines Oregon Cemetery at 2:00 on June 29th, 2026. Marilyn passed on November 17, 2025 in Lewiston Idaho; my sister Marsha was by her side.
Mom was a very community minded and religious person; I hope those who remember her will set aside a moment to reflect on the joy she brought to and received from her community, her friends and her family. Please remember her and know that she loved you.

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
John 13:34-35

Sherri Freer, president of the Mountain Home Ministerial Association, said a network of 14 local churches raised more than $22,000 in just 48 hours for victims of the RA-1 fire.

The Ochoas are one of the families currently rebuilding — and they are doing it with a baby on the way.

"This is probably the toughest thing that's ever happened to me," Giovanni Ochoa said.

Crews to begin resurfacing US-95 in Fruitland and Payette June 2

ITD Press Release

PAYETTE — The Idaho Transportation Department will begin resurfacing sections of US-95 between Fruitland and Payette on June 2.

Work will start in Payette south of the intersection of US-95 and 16th Street and continue south to the Payette River Bridge, with crews spending several days rebuilding and paving each section before moving to the next. Crews will rebuilding the road base and remove deteriorated pavement before applying new asphalt.

Traffic impacts will vary by location throughout construction. US-95 will be reduced to one lane in each direction where space allows. In narrower sections of roadway, including portions of Payette, flaggers will direct traffic through the one-lane work zone.

Additional daytime shoulder work will continue throughout the project corridor in Fruitland and Payette. Crews are also replacing underground utilities and constructing curbs and gutters between 16th Street and 24th Street in Fruitland and between 3rd Avenue and 6th Avenue in Payette.

Drivers should expect delays, slow down in work zones and watch for workers and flaggers. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and check 511.idaho.gov or the 511 mobile app for current traffic impacts and delays.

Construction is scheduled to finish in fall 2026.
