What we put first reveals what we value most.

It’s easy to say God is first in our lives, but do our priorities reflect that?

Putting God first isn’t just about what we give. It’s about trusting Him with what matters to us, surrendering our plans, and honoring Him with our first and our best.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:21

What a way to close out our “Blessed?” series! 🤍

Over these past weeks, we’ve been discovering what it truly means to live a blessed life according to Jesus. Today, we ended with a question that reaches into every area of our lives: Who’s on first?

Because what we put first reveals where our hearts really are.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:21

Grateful for another Sunday together and all God has been teaching us through this series! 🙌

What looks like defeat might actually be victory in God’s Kingdom.

Following Jesus doesn’t promise a life without opposition. But when we face resistance because of our faith, we can trust that God is still at work.

The very things meant to discourage us can deepen our faith, strengthen our perseverance, and draw us closer to Jesus.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 5:10

Don’t let opposition keep you from obedience. 🤍

10/11/2026

Today we continued our “Blessed?” series with a powerful reminder that what looks like defeat can actually be victory in God’s Kingdom.

Following Jesus doesn’t mean we’ll never face opposition or hardship. But even in the midst of it, God is at work, strengthening our faith, building perseverance, and drawing us closer to Him.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” - Matthew 5:10

Whatever we face, may we continue to stand firm in Jesus. 🙌
