Thoughtful Thursday!
DYCT #3: “God Often Shapes Me to Trust His Word Before I See His Works.”
Last week, Pastor highlighted one word from DYCT: SHAPES.
To be in the shaping process and not understand what God is shaping you for means we can easily miss the lessons He is trying to teach us. It’s often in the shaping that we find ourselves asking God, “Why me?”
The truth is, God isn’t finished shaping us yet.
The process can be frustrating. It can be painful. It involves pruning, exposing areas of ourselves we’d rather ignore, and transforming us from the inside out. But every cut, every stretch, and every lesson has purpose.
Last week, Pastor also demonstrated how our old life tries to keep us in bo***ge. The first place the enemy attacks is our mind. As long as we’re focused on walking into the new, the old mindset fights to creep back in, attempting to blind us and pull us back into familiar patterns.
Instead of moving forward, we find ourselves slipping back into old ways of thinking, blinded, distracted, and out of sync with what God is doing in this new season.
But God is calling us to TRANSITION.
Crossing over requires faith. It means leaving limitations, fear, old mindsets, and yesterday behind so we can fully embrace what God has prepared for us.
Don’t despise the shaping. It’s preparing you for the crossing.
Trust His Word… even before you see His works/MANIFESTATION❤️🙏🏾
