Chez Hope Inc will be the first to establish an organization that focuses on technology advocacy for victims of domestic violence in the state of Louisiana. While abusers often use technology to facilitate violence the purpose of the TEAR center is to empower victims to find strength in their technology. It can be used to gather information, seek services, and connect with their support system. This location will be utilized by victims, advocates, law enforcement, community & political leaders, and other social service providers. TEAR will offer digital safety, a website to raise awareness, training & education, technology experts and much more. Technology will be used to advocate against technology facilitated abuse by giving safe access to victims. Stay tuned.....

June is designated as National Internet Safety Month, a time to raise awareness about online safety and encourage individuals to take steps to protect themselves and their loved ones from cyber threats. This month serves as a reminder to be mindful of our digital habits and take precautions to ensure a secure online experience . Throughout the Month of June TEAR will offer tips on online safety, securing devices and strengthening cybersecurity.
