✨ Sunday Recap ✨

What a great Sunday at Discover! We celebrated a baptism, enjoyed a visit from M’s Ice Cream Truck with proceeds supporting camp scholarships, and continued our Ecclesiastes series with Pastor Ben. 🍦🙌

This week’s message, “The More You Know,” reminded us that knowledge is a gift — but knowledge without God at the center can still leave us empty.

Ecclesiastes shows us that wisdom and understanding have limits. The more we know, the more we realize how much we can’t fix, control, or fully understand on our own.

But when our pursuit of knowledge leads us toward God, it becomes worship.

The reminder for the week:
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

We don’t have to know everything.
We can know Him — and with that, we can be content. 💛

✨ Sunday Recap ✨

What a meaningful Sunday at Discover. We honored the men and women who gave their lives for our country, recognized the veterans in the room, and celebrated our graduates — including those stepping into military service. 🇺🇸🎓

We also began our new series in Ecclesiastes. Pastor Ben reminded us that so much of what we chase in life can look solid, but slip through our hands like v***r.

Ecclesiastes invites us to slow down and ask:
What am I really living for?
What am I chasing?
And is it actually giving me life?

The good news is that Jesus invites us out of chasing smoke and into real substance, real hope, and a life built on what lasts.

We’re excited to keep digging into Ecclesiastes together next Sunday. See you at 9:15 or 11! 💛

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7

We remember their sacrifice, honor their courage, and hold close the families and loved ones who carry their memory every day. May we never take for granted the freedoms purchased at such a great cost.

Today, we remember. ❤️🤍💙
