The Art of Marriage weaves together expert teaching, real-life stories, humorous vignettes, and more to portray both the challenges and the beauty of God’s design for marriage. Filmed in a style unlike any other marriage study, over 40 contributors provide biblically-centered teaching while couples who have struggled in marriage openly and honestly share their own stories. This event is presented by Heart For Families and will be hosted at Cowee.

Husbands, never use your position, size, words, or argumentation to intimidate. Instead, love gently with your wife's best always at the forefront of your mind. Gentleness is a sure sign of strength and love.

Men that intimidate their wives (or others) are either deeply insecure or intensely selfish. Here's the thing, everyone is insecure and selfish on some level. It's part of the human condition outside of Christ. Of course, he is the only cure for both.

In Christ, our position is forever secure: we are loved without condition, adopted in as children, and forgiven of every wrong we have or will commit. It is only from a place of security that we can be truly selfless.

When we understand that Christ gives all we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3), we no longer need to demand anything from another person.

Fierce husbands (and wives), remember your security in Christ. It starts now and extends into eternity. You are loved in Christ! Nothing can ever change that.

Now go...love your spouse from a place of security, giving kindness, gentleness, and affection without limit or condition. If you do, your love will multiply and mature in ways you never imagined.
