SRC is a very exciting melting pot of denominational and demographic backgrounds. We are associated with the Southern Baptist denomination through our giving and support of missions. While we appreciate our rich Baptist heritage, you will find that there are no loyalties that supersede our loyalty to Christ and the Truth of scripture. At Solid Rock we believe that worship is about bringing glory t
o God with every aspect of our lives. One of the ways we worship is through music. Every Sunday, whether we have a full band or an acoustic set, we’ll be lifting up the name of Jesus, joining in with creation and believers from all across the world and throughout history. We sing contemporary favorites, new songs, and some hymns. We wish to echo a loud and reverent song to our God with excitement and awe because of who He is and what He has done for us. Please feel free to participate to the level that you are comfortable. Our teaching is insightful, inspiring, and deeply challenging. Each week, our pastors bring a fresh word from God based on the uncompromising truth found in the scriptures. Feel free to dress up or come casual! We are not usually a suit and tie congregation but have a wide variety of attire and invite you to come as you are comfortable. While culture looks at the outside, God looks at our hearts.
