Good Monday morning BPMC!
As we approach the coming week I am reminded of the goodness of God. Our visit at the Oasis yesterday morning was wonderful, because of the goodness of God. The sunrise this morning was beautiful because of the goodness of God. The bird singing outside my window is uplifting because of the goodness of God. My house is cool and safe and secure because of the goodness of God. The one who made my coffee this morning is my helpmate because of the goodness of God. The opportunities of the week are welcomed because of the goodness of God. “I will sing of the goodness of God”. (Jenn Johnson )
As our week unfolds let us embrace the goodness of God that surrounds us daily. Let us live in peace and joy and abundance. “Life is worth the living because he lives.”(Bill Gaither)
May God richly bless us all this week!

Good morning BPMC! It’s Friday!
This Sunday is Father’s Day and I hope you make it special for your Dad. It’s been 22 years since I have seen my dad, and if you still have yours, my suggestion is that this Sunday you hold him a little tighter, cherish him a little more intently, and be grateful to your Heavenly Father for your earthly one. You never know which Father’s Day is your last.
This Sunday we will examine Genesis 2:23-25 and talk about the first Father. I have entitled the message, “In Pusuit of Perfection”. Adam lived in perfection and had a God-given spiritual purpose and destiny. Each of us has been given a spiritual purpose and destiny as well, and we need to get in pursuit of perfection. As we move forward to the end of time, our spiritual destiny is the most important thing in our lives. Let us pursue perfection together.
Children bring your dads.
Dads bring your children.
Wives bring your husbands.
Husband bring your wives.
Singles bring a date.
Members bring a visitor.
Let us pursue perfection this Sunday by filling every pew!
Sunday’s coming and it won’t be the same without you !

Good Monday morning BPMC!
It was wonderful to see the church filled yesterday with VBS children and visitors and our family. God’s love was the topic of the day and was apparent throughout the church.
As our week unfolds let us share God’s love with all we meet. A smile, a kind word, a hug, a validating comment may be exactly what someone needs to turn a miserable day into a joyful one. We never know what internal burden is being carried by another and we never know when we can be God’s instrument of healing in their life. God loves us—so we love each other. (1John 4:11)
May God richly bless us all this week!

Good morning BPMC! It’s Friday!
Last evening at VBS was a wonderful time of laughter and learning and love. Thank you so much to everyone who has put so much time and effort into touching little children with the love of Jesus.
The memory verse for VBS is taken from 1 John 4:7 and reminds us that because God is love, we should love one another. I hope to expand on that thought this Sunday morning. We will never encounter anything as complete, as life altering, as unadulterated, or as glorious, as the love of God. I am hopeful the church will be filled with God’s love and God’s people this Sunday.

As we prepare for these two special nights, we ask our church family and community to join us in prayer:
Pray for the children who will attend.
Pray for our volunteers and leaders.
Pray that hearts will be open to God's love.

We can't wait to learn, sing, play, create, and grow together as we discover just how much God loves us!

Good Monday morning BPMC!
The sun arises on another day and God is on his throne. “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. “ ( Psalm 19:1)
Everywhere I look, I see the evidence of God. His power is in the sunrise; his love is in the cool breeze; his beauty is in the daylily; his majesty is in the hummingbird; his provision is in the showers; his grace is in every breath I take.
Let us approach this week in peace and joy and abundance. Let us find God in every smile, every success, every accomplishment. Let us praise God with every word, every breath, every thought. Let us live life and love life. Christianity is not a religion—it is a lifestyle based on a relationship with a resurrected Lord. It is our life and it is the best life!
May God richly bless us all this week!
