Good Monday morning BPMC!
Did you do it this morning? Did you whisper a little prayer and ask God to walk with you today? As we strive to meet the demands of life, we will find we are empowered if we walk with God. Peace, joy, and abundance are all possible in the midst of the challenges of life if our Father is with us. Let us resolve to remember the promise: Greater is he within us than he that is in the world. What do we have to worry about ?
May God richly bless us all this week!( and he will)

P S: Please be in prayer for Mary and Jeff and Dan, as they say their earthly goodbyes to Benton Moore today.

Good morning BPMC! It’s Friday!
Our message this Sunday is entitled “Living our best life”. God has a glorious plan of peace, joy and abundance for each of us. Further, he has the power to execute that plan within our lives, but unfortunately we have the power to quench the spirit. This Sunday we will discover some practical things we can do to release the spirit within us and to live our best life. If you feel limited or oppressed or unsuccessful or underdeveloped, this might be the very message you need.
Sundays coming and it won’t be the same without you!

Good Monday morning BPMC!
Let us pause on this Memorial Day to appreciate our freedoms as Americans and to recognize those soldiers who paid the supreme sacrifice to preserve that freedom. Let us whisper a little prayer today for their families, whose sacrifice did not end on the battlefield but continues daily.
As we consider the freedoms we enjoy as Americans, we are aware that those freedoms pale in comparison to the freedoms we enjoy as Christians. “ What the son makes free, is free indeed”( John 8:36) We have the freedom to live in joy, abide in peace, and embrace abundance. We have freedom from the penalty of sin, but also from the power of sin in our lives. We have feedom over death, over hell, and over the grave.
Every day should be Memorial Day in Christianity. Every day, we should resolve to shed our lukewarm lives and live fully committed and faithful to Jesus. He was not lukewarm as he walked up Calvary’s hill to secure our freedoms. Let us not live lukewarm in those freedoms .
May God richly bless us all this week!

Good morning BPMC! It’s Friday!
This Sunday we will examine Revelation 3:1-19 and see what Jesus had to say about the lukewarm Christian. The scripture begins by identifying Jesus as the creator, then tells us that he is aware of our works. Then the scripture makes it clear that Jesus has little use for a lukewarm Christian. Then, in verse 19 he reminds us that he loves us and gives us sound advise to avoid being rebuked and chastened.
This scripture calls us all to self examination and recommitment if needed. It also calls us to be grateful for the grace of God that extends even to lukewarm Christians. This is an important study for us all—hot, cold, or in between.

Good Monday morning BPMC!
I call upon the church to be in prayer for Michelle Bryan today as she says her earthly good-byes to her dad, Roger Barton. Services will be at Young’s Community at 2:00.
Every time we experience a funeral, we are reminded of the sovereignty of God. Everyone is scheduled to leave this world someday and everyone will enter into eternity. Jesus promised, “In my father’s house are many mansions and I go now to prepare one for you…”. ( John 14:1) He was speaking specifically to his followers and he speaks the same promise specifically to his redeemed today. Heaven is the eternal home of the born again, and walking through this world with the calm assurance of heaven makes life sweeter! “I am THE door and if ANY man enter in he will be saved…” (John 10:9)
May God richly bless us all this week!

Good morning BPMC! It’s Friday!
Our Sunday message is entitled, “ Liar, Lunatic, or Lord” It is taken from John 10:1-10 especially verse 9. In that verse Jesus makes a claim about himself that is so far-reaching, so fantastic, so demanding that he is clearly a liar, a lunatic or the Lord. If he is a liar we can ignore him. If he is a lunatic we can dismiss him. But, if he is the Lord we must listen to him. “ Why do you call me Lord, Lord but will not do the things I say?”(Luke 6:46)
What say you? Is he your Lord? The most important word in verse 9 might be the little word “if”. It means we have been given the right to choose. We can choose to ignore him, choose to dismiss him, or choose to submit to his Lordship. If we choose the latter, our most obvious, and I would argue the easiest act of obedience, is to gather in his house, on his day, with his people, for worship. Let us seize the Sunday morning opportunity to show the world that Jesus is the Lord of our lives.
