Good morning,
Our message title today is “Staying Close To Jesus”. The scripture reference is Jude 24. Jude gives us a heads up about being careful in our spiritual life. The devil cannot take our salvation away, but his goal is to get us to stumble and fall away from God’s truth. Psalms 91:4 says His truth shall be your shield. Today truth seems hard to know. There is a lot of deception going on because God’s word is not sought after. God asks us to live a life for him and the only way to do this is to let Jesus live through us. 1 Peter 5:8 tells us that the devil is seeking whomever he may devour.

Staying Close To Jesus
Jude 24
1. He Is Able
John 17:20-23
2. To Keep You
1 Corinthians 1:8-9
3. From Stumbling
John 8:32
Looking forward to seeing you in Sunday school at 10:00 and worship at 11:00.

Good morning,
Our message title today is “Following Jesus”. The scripture reference is Matthew 8:23-27. Jesus had been teaching about discipleship throughout the day. In the evening he told his disciples to get in a boat and cross over the sea. As they were traveling in the boat a storm came up. The disciples were scared as the boat began to fill up with water. The interesting thing is that Jesus was asleep. Jesus said “why are you fearful? You have little faith”. Like the disciples, Jesus is teaching us to have faith during our storms in life and to trust him.

Following Jesus
Matthew 8:23-27
1. Let Us Cross Over
v. 23, Psalm 37:5-6
2. The Storm
v. 24, Luke 21:25-28
3. Little Faith
v. 25-26, Psalm 65:7
See you in Sunday school at 10:00 and worship at 11:00.

Good morning,
Our message title today is “Lord Have Mercy On Me”. The scripture reference is Psalms 6.
As we approach Memorial Day we remember the ones who gave their lives in order for us to have freedom. Psalms 6 tell us that David left us hope in the Lord for our lives. David reminds us that our flesh is weak and that the Lord is strong and will help us with anything we need. What David wrote will help us to always remember that God is with us and always wants the best for us.

Lord Have Mercy On Me
Psalms 6
1. I Am Weak
v. 2, Romans 3:10-12
2. Deliver Me
v. 4, Exodus 25:16-17
3. The Lord Heard Me
v. 8-9, Luke 18:10-14
Looking forward to seeing you in Sunday school at 10:00 and worship at 11:00.

Good morning,
The title of our message today is “Sin - A Gradual Death.” The scripture reference is Judges 16:1-6. We are going to look at Samson today. He was a childhood hero in Sunday school. He was one of Israel’s judges who was known for his great physical strength. He had a special birth and had Godly parents. He missed letting God have all of him. He let sin carry him away from God. Samson was a lustful man. His strength would become his pride. In the end he would begin to see spiritually and let God be in control.
1. Sin Will Tie You Up
via. 7, Romans 7:17-18
2. Sin Brings Blindness
v. 21, 1 Corinthians 4:4
3. Sin Can Enslave You
v. 23-24, James 1:13-16
See you in Sunday school at 10:00 and worship at 11:00.

Good morning
Our message title today is “A Mother’s Sacrifice”. The scripture reference is Hebrews 11:23-27. Today is a very special day. It is Mother’s Day! Mother’s are a special part in every family. As we look in the Bible, we see that Moses had a special mother. She did her part keeping Moses alive and bringing him up to be a part of God’s plan to free the children of Israel. Her influence helped Moses to know and do what was right. Today mothers can do the same thing by raising their children to seek what God has for them.

A Mother’s Sacrifice
Hebrews 11:23-27
1. She Loved Her Son
v. 23a, Acts 7:20
2. She Sacrificed Her Life

Good morning,
Our message title today is “Jesus Wept”. The scripture reference is Luke 19:41-44. We see Jesus’ frustration for the people to understand the work of God. Scripture tells us he wept because his own people did not understand his first coming. Time was getting short and he would be going to the cross. So many would miss who he was. It’s the same for us today, many do not understand his second coming and are not ready. May we be ready and live our lives expecting his appearance soon.

Jesus Wept
Luke 19:41-44
1. Over Disbelief
v. 41-42, 2 Timothy 4:3-4
2. Over The Enemy Coming

Good morning,
The title of our message today is “Making A Decision To Help”. The scripture reference is Mark 2:1-12. This is a story about some friends who wanted to help a paralyzed friend. They carried their friend to where Jesus was at a house. They could not get in because of the crowd, but they would not give up. They went to the roof and lowered the man down to where Jesus was. All they could see was his physical need, but Jesus saw his spiritual need. Through the paralyzed man’s faith his sins were forgiven and he was healed spiritually and physically. May we never give up on anyone and may our faith be in Jesus also.

Making A Decision To Help

Good morning,
The title of our message today is “Maturing As Christians”. Our scripture reference is 1 Peter 4:12-14. Peter writes to us about suffering and trials that will come to us. He experienced and overcame trials and suffering himself. With Jesus’ suffering, we see that God gives us power to overcome our trials. The devil wants us to fail, but through our trials our prayer life will increase. We will have confidence we are doing right and this will honor our Lord.

Good evening,
The title of the message tomorrow is “Jesus Overcame Death”. Our scripture reference is Matthew 28:1-8. Jesus had many things going on at the end of his life. Because of the cross, people had a lot of misunderstanding of what was coming. Three days after Jesus’ death the women were headed to his tomb. What they thought and expected was going to happen was changed because of the resurrection. Their lives were changed in an instant. They were told to go tell the disciples and their lives would change also. Our lives can be changed too because of the resurrection of Jesus!

Jesus Overcame Death
Matthew 28:1-8
1. Jesus Is Not Here
v. 6a, Matthew 24:6
2. Jesus Is Risen
v. 6b, 1 Corinthians 15:17-19
3. Jesus Is Lord

**Attention** We will have a sausage & biscuit breakfast and fellowship at 9:00 and worship service at 10:00. (There will be no Sunday school.).
