🕊️Honoring the Life & Legacy of Mother Ruth Oliver🕊️

With heavy hearts and grateful spirits, we honor the life of our beloved Mother Ruth Oliver, who faithfully served as a dedicated mother of Jesus Christ Outreach Center for over 35 years. A woman of prayer, wisdom, and quiet strength, Mother Oliver lovingly nurtured generations through her faithfulness, encouragement, and servant’s heart.

Yesterday, Mother Oliver went home to be with the Lord. While we mourn her passing, we rejoice in knowing she is at peace and has received her heavenly reward.

We stand in prayer with the Oliver family and ask our church family and community to keep them lifted during this time.

✨ What a JOYOUS day at Jesus Christ Outreach Center! ✨

Today we celebrated the climax of our 37th Church Anniversary with the theme: “Serving the Community in Faith, Service, and Love.” 💜

We were especially blessed to honor our longest-serving Church Mother, Mother Ruth Oliver, who also celebrated her birthday today! 🎉 Her radiant smile along with the presence of her beautiful family made the day even sweeter.

For 37 years, God has been faithful to this ministry, and today was a powerful reminder that His love continues to guide and sustain us. 🌟

Jesus Christ Outreach Center extends a heartfelt thank you to Joe North, Benita North, The North Law Firm, Lee Pitts, and Lee Pitts Live for recognizing our beloved pastors, Bishop Halsey and Dr. Linda Watkins, during their Annual Black History Month Honors Gala.

We are truly grateful for the community’s outpouring of “Love by the Gallons” towards our pastors! We are grateful for the recognition of their lifelong dedication to faith, service, community, and leadership.

📚Celebrating Lydia-Joi’s Little Free Library! 📚

Yesterday, we witnessed a beautiful moment as Lydia-Joi Holloway cut the ribbon on her Little Free Neighborhood Library at the Legacy Center!🎉 With about 50 guests and 200+ book donations, this initiative is already making an impact!

Special thanks to Mayor Anderson, Councilwoman Watkins Brown, Councilwoman Giraldo, Police Chief Fields, Fire Chief McMillion, School Board Member Debbie Jordan, Attorney Joe North, and many others for joining us!

With an overwhelming response from the community, Lydia’s dad even built a second library to house more books! 📖✨

We’re excited to continue this momentum with JCOC’s Legacy Center launching the Read to Lead Leadership Academy this summer! Stay tuned!
