Lord,
Tomorrow is the day! As our local schools begin a new year, we just want to take a moment and praise You for another school year as our summer officially comes to a close. Now, we turn our thoughts and prayers to our schools, staff, and children. Lord, we know that there are so many complicated issues in today's world. We just pray that You would have a presence in our schools and give guidance to our wonderful teachers and staff members. Please give them Your wisdom. We pray that You will guide the hands, mouths, and actions of everyone who comes into the schools to reflect You, Your love, and Your light. Lord, You always provide, and we ask that You would give them the strength and courage to navigate whatever comes their way this school year. We also ask You to help every child who walks through the schools' doors to discover the wisdom and truth only You can give. Please protect the young hearts and minds within. Lord, we pray that You would prepare a path for each child this school year. We pray for mental clarity, positive learning, and a good experience that they will never forget. As this year begins with so many possibilities, we ask that You would cover and protect each of our schools, each staff member, and each child.
