You're invited to join us at Grace United Church Fort Atkinson this Sunday, May 24 at 10:00 am for our monthly Community Sunday. Instead of a formal worship service, we will gather to serve the community. This month we are prepping a warm meal for BASE Fort Atkinson, which we'll serve on Wednesday, May 27. We're happy to offer Meals on a Stick, which ensures every student gets a warm meal after school. Come help us put together a delicious feast!

Are you up for a challenge? We're looking for six people who embrace new experiences, aren't afraid to challenge their perceptions of what church can be, and enjoy making meaning out of connecting ideas. Make no mistake, it's all grounded in scripture. The only difference is you won't find yourself sitting in a pew passively listening to a sermon that doesn't connect to your daily life. Grace United invites you to join us for a Wizard of Oz and Wicked multimedia experience on Sunday, March 15 at 10:00 am. Follow the yellow brick road to find a place everyone can belong!

This Sunday, February 22nd is a Community Service Sunday at Grace United Church. We will put together Hygiene kits for Church World Service. We also have a Bible study on Genesis 2:15-17, 3:1-7 Eating of the tree of knowledge. It is a great story for questions, ponderings and all sorts of spiritual wonderings! We begin at 10 AM. Come as you are!

Today is the beginning of Lent. I love Pope Leo's idea, that for Lent this year we can give up using disparaging words in talking about other people. He called it a fast from meanness. However you recognize Lent, may it be meaningful!
