He has a down to earth way of explaining biblical truths, in which even the youngest listener can understand. When he leads a study through the book of Revelation, it's a if he was there when the book was written by the Apostle John. He is a 22 year military veteran, Vice President of the Clayton County Ministers Conference, Worship Leader and Recording Artist. He has been married to his bride, Jill Hudson Childs, a Clayton County school teacher, for the past 35 years. They have two children, Earnest III (24) and Olivia (21) and are proud citizens of Jonesboro, in Clayton County. Our pastor and leadership believe that we are here to equip the saints for service; through an intimate knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, submission to the Authority of Scripture, faith in the transforming Power of the Gospel Message, Intentional Discipleship, and Spirit-Filled Worship.
