During this holiday season, I'm the most thankful for God, family, friends, and all of my current supporters who have helped me in my endeavors to pioneer a Chi Alpha at the HBCU's in Atlanta, GA including Spelman, Morehouse, and Clark Atlanta (which are collectively known as the Atlanta University Center)! I moved to Statesboro, GA this past Saturday! It's been an interesting last few days getting settled in an entirely new city! I'm overwhelmed with every single emotion. I'm sad to be so far away from family and friends, anxious for this new journey, but at the same time beyond excited to go on this new adventure with the Lord and current GSU Chi Alpha leaders!! There are just a few more weeks left until school starts, so please keep me in your prayers!!

P.S. I have the best parents in the entire world! They drove over three hours to Statesboro with me to help me move in! And anyone from Statesboro knows that we almost had a HEATSTROKE lol!! But I'm so thankful for them!

The end of the school year has come to a close, and I’ve finished my third year working with Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship as a Campus Missionary Associate! This job has been the most challenging and rewarding job I’ve ever done and I wouldn’t change any of it for the world! And I’m so thankful and honored to tell my supporters that I have accepted the position to continue my passion to minister to college students at Georgia Southern University as their Interim Director.

Some of you who were already aware of my dream to pioneer (plant a Chi Alpha campus ministry at a college where it doesn’t already exist) Chi Alpha at Spelman College, and you may be wondering what happens now. I still plan to do that!! I will be the temporary Director at GSU for at least a year, and then continue my preparations to pioneer at Spelman after that. My bosses and I simply believe that spending time as a Director at GSU will provide their campus ministry some stability, and also help prepare me for the journey ahead!

So prayers would be greatly appreciated as I transition into this new role! You can pray for me that the Lord will use me and the student leaders to bring as many students as possible to Christ, and that I will raise the money necessary by August 1 to start the position. Because as Campus Missionaries within Chi Alpha, we are responsible for raising our own salary. Thankfully, I’ve already raised $800 in monthly support but have to raise $1,000 more to reach my goal. If you’re interested in partnering with me to minister the Gospel at GSU, I’d love to set aside a time to share with you why I believe it’s important to minister on college campuses, the vision that I have as a director, and ask you if you'd like to partner with me by praying for me, giving a one-time donation, and/or give monthly. Our other missions trip fundraiser was our event known as “What Would You do for Missions.” We came up with a list of embarrassing tasks that we would agree to do if the students raised enough money for each task. So for instance, our two male interns had to shave their legs if the students raised $100. And they could pie me in the face if they raised $200 (and they succeeded)! The goal for the night was $2,000 and to our surprise the students actually reached it!

Pictured below is my boss and CSU's Chi Alpha Director (dressed as superman to go around saving students, and my other co-worker and I putting on a balloon show as clowns). It was supposed to be embarrassing. But I actually had a lot of fun!

Since the last time I commented on here, so much has happened including our mission trip fundraisers: Talent show and What Would you do for Missions!

I organized and hosted the Talent show and really enjoyed students coming out and showing us what they’re made of. We had poets, singers, dancers, and gave away a cash prize to first and second! Even my brother came performed a song! Big shout out to the judges, Christian rap performer Timothy Gabriel of Lion and Lamb Music who performed during intermission, and all of the participants! It was definitely a night to remember! ally enjoyed students coming out and showing us what they’re made of. We had poets, singers, dancers, and gave away a cash prize to first and second!
