Redding Mission Trips Sharing our experiences on Missions. We started this page when Lawrence, Daniel, Sarah, and John Mark were going to Honduras.

Since we have become involved in several other mission efforts we have decided to update our page to include our other missions as well. We appreciate so many of you who have shared in the work God has given us to do through the years. Please join with us as we continue our journey.

Your clothing donations continue to be a blessing to our brothers and sisters in Malawi.

“On behalf of Milala and Muhana Church of Christ, we are deeply filled with sincere gratitude for the donation of men's clothing, women's clothing, children clothing received on 30/08/2026.

It is wonderful to see how a simple act of sharing brings hope and comfort to members.

The bible reminds us of Hebrews 13:16, "Do not forget to do good and share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased". Thank you for living out this message through giving.”

Today on 23 August 2026 we welcome Wisdom Ndhlovu, Davie Longwe who have obeyed the gospel at Mcherera Church of Christ.

Pray for our new brothers!

Our work involves many village churches (80+) for miles around our main overseeing church.

Your donations and shipments of supplies, birthing kits and other much needed items reach these villages through the brethren in these churches as well as our workers.

Our vocational students you sponsor come from these surrounding churches.

Our workers preach and teach in these areas using WBS and door to door work.

Thank you for your continued support! Because of your support the gospel continues to spread. It takes us all!

This has been a very full month at home in the USA and in Malawi.

We spent a week in Texas visiting our son Gabriel and touring SpaceX together with several of our sons. Lawrence and I celebrated 46 years of marriage on August 12.

Our brethren continue the work of sharing the gospel, encouraging the new congregations, making bricks for a future construction of a church building, clothing giveaways(thank you WV churches!) and planning for taking care of widows and orphans. And work continues at the library. We hope to fill it up with wonderful books.

There have been a few setbacks with some of the construction projects, contractors, etc. We are hopeful we are back on target now to finish up.

We have welcomed several new Christians : Dagalas Mwanza, at Muchelera church of Christ, Towela Ndhlozi, Florence Gama, and on August 1 the Kapenga church welcomed Rincy Shaba, Glory Mahowe, and Thinsiah Banda.

Thank you for your continued support as we continue to spread the gospel in Malawi.

Several wonderful things happening with our work.

Two men have obeyed the gospel. One through our World Bible School program. Hamilton Lusale and Joshua Mwanza.

There have been two brothers who have returned to the Lord as a result of door knocking campaign in their area. Temwanani Mashowo and Mywell Zimba.

Our workers continue to spread the Good News of salvation in Jesus!
