Church of Our Saviour, Lutheran - ELCA, Fond du Lac We are a welcoming community called to serve others in God’s love. A member congregation of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America).

Church of Our Saviour is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Since shortly after its organization as a mission congregation of the United Lutheran Church in 1925, the parish has been located at the busy intersection of South Main and Ninth Streets, on the south edge of downtown Fond du Lac. The parish of approximately 350 baptized members is served by a full-time pastor, Rev. Crystal Lee, along with music, office and custodial staff. Further ministry support is provided by a variety of lay ministries such as the Befrienders and bereavement counselors.

Church of Our Saviour is saddened to announce that Pastor Crystal Lee is resigning her call as Pastor of COOS and accepted a position as a hospice chaplain in Green Bay WI. Her last Sunday will be September 20, with her resignation effective on September 30.
During Pastor Crystal's five year tenure at COOS, the congregation has seen many positive changes including a successful three-year capital improvements campaign and an influx of new members that has given the congregaton new energy and enthusiasm.

On August 21, seven women from Church of Our Saviour gathered at LakeHouse-Fond du Lac to assemble 70 “goodie” bags for the teachers and staff at Riverside School to welcome them back for another school year. This project was initiated as part of our centennial last year and is being continued by WELCA on an annual basis. Goodies included candy, munchies and useful classroom items that were purchased with funds donated to WELCA for Riverside projects.

The public is invited to a free concert by Fond du Lac native Jestin Pieper, an award winning and multifaceted New York City based pianist, vocal coach, organist, conductor, and educator. As a performer, Mr. Pieper has been heard in performance at such venues as Carnegie Hall, Symphony Space, The Bruno Walter Auditorium in New York, The Long Center in Texas, Harris Hall in Colorado, Parker Concert Hall in North Carolina and many prestigious venues across the USA and Europe. A graduate of Lawrence University, University of Texas at Austin, and Manhattan School of Music, he is currently pursing his DMA at Five Towns College, where he teaches music theory, aural skills, private piano lessons, and vocal coaching lessons..

Church of Our Saviour is seeking applicants for Music Ministry Coordinator. The Music Ministry Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for providing musical leadership for the worship life of the congregation. Working collaboratively with the pastor, staff, volunteers, and Worship & Music Team, the Music Ministry Coordinator helps create meaningful worship experiences through choir leadership, special music coordination, and congregational participation.
