What a special Sunday at Lakeside! ☀️

This weekend, we had the privilege of joining churches around the world for Baptize the World as people publicly declared their faith in Jesus through baptism.

We also got to celebrate our 5th graders moving up to middle school, which made the day even more special. 🥹

We’re so grateful for every person who took that next step of obedience, and for every family member and friend who came alongside them to celebrate. 💙

Already counting down the days until we get to spend next Sunday together.

This Sunday, Pastor Ryan reminded us that every day we’re faced with choices about what we’ll trust, follow, and build our lives on.

A better priest. A better covenant. A better sacrifice.

Not a life built on striving, performance, or trying to earn grace, but one rooted in what Jesus has already finished for us.

As we continue our Unshakeable series through Hebrews, may we learn to choose better, to choose Jesus again and again. ✨

In a world that feels constantly shifting, Hebrews 6:19 points us back to the hope we have in Jesus, “an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”
