End of an era, but the legacy lives on! ✨Since 1981, Michael Hawkins ’85 has been an essential part of the fabric here at Francis Marion University. Today is his official first day of retirement after an incredible career as both a student and an employee.

While he might be off the clock, he’s not going far—keep an eye out for him cheering on the Patriots at games and catching up around campus! 🔴🔵

For 30 years, Lighthouse Ministries has been walking alongside our neighbors in Florence County, helping prevent homelessness and providing a path toward stability for families in need. 💙

Now, we invite you to celebrate this milestone with us!

Join us on June 18 at the FMU Steven F. Gately Gallery for an evening of light bites, drinks, and a walk through the 30 year story of Lighthouse Ministries. From the lives impacted to the memories made, we are grateful for every person who has been part of the journey.
