West Florence Baptist Church

West Florence Baptist Church A movement of making disciples for Jesus. Our goal is to glorify God by making His mission our mission. And that is His Great Commission.

The last words of Jesus on earth were to tell His disciples to preach the gospel & make disciples. We exist to do glorify God by doing those two things. We look to accomplish this in several ways, one of which is by meeting together on Sundays & Wednesdays.

1) On Sunday morning at 10:30 AM, we meet for our Worship Service.

2) Our worship service accomodates the very young with a Chil

dren's Church service. Children sit in the main auditorium during the song service (about 15 minutes), and then are ushered into the Children's Church area. Children's Church is for 1st grade and below.


3) If you have an infant or toddler, we want you to know that nursery is always provided, though you are welcome to keep your children with you, if you desire. In addition we offer a Mother's Room for new moms and their infant.

📚✏️ For some, school has already begun. For others, it’s just around the corner. Either way… we believe the best way to begin a school year is with prayer.

Join us this Sunday as we pray over every student, teacher, administrator, homeschool family, college student, and school employee in our community.

Whether you’ve already walked through the school doors or are still counting down the days, let’s ask God to give wisdom, protection, courage, and a heart that honors Him throughout the year ahead.

The Last Thursday

What a wonderful evening together at West!

More than 40 men gathered for great food, meaningful fellowship, and Christ-centered encouragement. We cooked 40 pounds of chicken wings and 10 pounds of potatoes, enjoyed a challenging devotion from Timmy Baird, and were blessed as Brother Eddie Amerson shared several original songs of praise.

This is what Men’s Fellowship is all about—not just sharing a meal, but encouraging one another to follow Christ.

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…” — Hebrews 10:24–25

To God be the glory for a wonderful evening.

Every church needs somebody who takes the Welcome Center seriously.

This morning, that somebody was 4 years old. 🍩❤️

Through Scripture, moments of silence, and the sound of the trumpet, we will slow down and consider the suffering and sacrifice of Christ. This service will be different from a typical Sunday—simpler, more reverent, and intentionally unhurried.
